I think I subconsciously based xem off of me due to the design and everything but idc umber is cool asf if you don’t like him- respectfully fuck you (/lh)

What is your sims dream job?

An author, song writer, poet… script writer… anything creative. Xey were writing since they were like eight, and haven’t stopped

If you could write a story about this sim, what genre would it be?

I May throw them into that universe where all my ocs are college students (even the 200+ year old ones) and then put the polar opposites in dorms together to see what would happen. So the genre is probably gonna be a slice of life, supernatural /sci-fi , hurt/comfort one.

Umber was born on the 16th of March 2005, which would currently make Xem 17. Xey live with their father after their parents went through a divorce- mutual divorce but Jasmine (xeir mother) didn’t think she could care for Umber well so they decided that xey’d be better off with xeir father (Owen) rather than be in the foster system.

Umber was AFAB, xeir birth name was Selene, but eventually at about 10 they started questioning. Xey never REALLY felt like a girl. And to make things worse kids at school weren’t exactly the most…. open minded, especially when they hit Highschool

He pitched the idea of being trans to his parents at age 14, xeir mother didn’t approve and just kinda … left his life. Which stung but xeir father ed Xem.

Umber went through many names- Alex, Sam, Isaac and Kian. Though they heard of a singer called UmbriaticForest on YouTube and that’s where Xey got xeir name from.

Xeir dad doesn’t know Xey identify as Agender. Just the fact Xey are trans and omni. They thought about talking to xeir dad about it once or twice but they didn’t want to risk losing another parent

A brown haired kid walked into his new dorm- a fresh one untouched. To his knowledge he wouldn’t have a dormate so he had a whole apartment to himself.

When he got in the first thing he noticed was how open plan it was. The kitchen in a small corner, most of the apartment was a living room, the kitchen separated by a small white half wall. The bedrooms were hypothetically through the door parallel to the main entrance, hopefully there would be a toilet there too

”This is it umber… your new life. Author time begins now.” He mumbled to himself. Since he was not on testosterone and didn’t talk enough anyway to care to train his voice, his voice was ever so slightly feminine. However he had quite a deep voice to begin with so if he talked quietly enough not many people would notice.

Several hours later the door opened, a dorm mate that Umber was not expecting at all. They seemed to be about 6’2 with dirty blonde hair and turquoise eyes.

”Is this room 325?” The other male asked to Umber. Umber, who was happily watching a movie on his phone nodded.

”I’mAndrew, nice to meet you.” He said, sitting himself in the living room area. Umber didn’t know what to say but he didn’t want to make a shit impression.

”Oh.. I’m umb-umber.. hah.. sorry.” He apologised, the apology was for stuttering . No matter how many times he tried to convince himself he had nothing to be afraid of by talking he just couldn’t shake the feeling
