Listen as the tunnels cry again,

Its fear awakened by a flame,

The shadows within all danced and sing

A song about its haunted lore,

Fear not the shadows and the spirit

Who had made this tunnel their home,

Instead, be afraid of the monster

Who tied a soul into the earth,

Ah, the horrors that's left by its screams

Strikes fear to those who dared to come,

The maddening screams and moans and groans

Sought for the chill of cold water,

Stories differ from one another,

Yet all of them involves fire,

Of burning, searing, scarlet embers,

Scorching even from the beyond,

Listen to that agonising wails

Made by this poor, earthbound spirit

Who could only recall cruel heat,

Embracing her 'til she's gone cold,

Fear not the ghost that's been lost through time,

The victim of this tragedy

Who cannot utter a single word

Yet could scream until end of times,

The poor soul who knows of warmth and heat

Longs to feel the breath of winter,

Yet cursed to only make appearance

When flames alight some old matchstick,

Her heart pangs for all things that are cold,

But is only met with hot flames,

She yearns to hold a touch of cold frost

While knowing it can't sate her soul.
