Let me be reborn in flames

From the ashes of my bones

That were burnt away from hate,

Yet remained intact, in place,

Let me rise up from the dead

And be given life again

Into this world, filled with strife,

Though always searching for peace,

Watch as my blood turn to flames

Of every colour that's known,

Be at awe from its power

To burn away the evil,

Listen to my ancient song

Made from words I did not know,

Hear me sing this awful ode

Quite unknown to mankind,

Be wary of my feathers

That can whip winds into storms,

Of whirlwinds to scatter those

With arrogant minds and hearts,

Let me be reborn in flames

Bathed with the holy light

That severed away darkness

Caused by those with wicked hearts,

Let me rise into the sky,

Over the mountains and seas,

Let me be this second sun

To burn away the evil,

And be afraid of my gaze,

A gaze that would never rest

Until wickedness is purged

Or once malevolence dies,

Then listen as I cry out

To those who would still suffer,

Listen to my elegy

Of those who remained in chains,

Be afraid of my anger

Evoked from my bleeding heart,

For I will become wrathful

Towards untouched oppressors,

Let me be this bright phoenix

That guards this heavenly realm,

Let me be this guardian that's

Affixed into old legends,

But please, let me have my rest,

Take me off my pedestal,

End this phoenix once and for all,

End this god that's dying for death.
