Hey guys! So since I was accepted into the amazing group, info icelandics, I decided to go ahead and make a post! This post is about the basics to SSO dressage.

NOTE: Everyone does sso dressage in different ways! This is just how Wind star clubs and my club do it.

What is dressage and what do you do in it?

Well, dressage is sort of a hobby on sso. Lots of clubs do it in a way where everyone lines up NTT- Nose to Tail. Usually everyone does this in the Riding Arena at Silverglade Manor. Once you are all lined up and ready to go, the commander of the line (the leader of the line) says a command like "TROT SET." This means, get ready to trot on go while trying to stay in NTT with your line. Dressage commands vary in several ways. There are hard, easy, and really advanced. Here are some of the easy, basic commands.

• Trot set -

Get ready to trot

•Curl Set-

Get ready to do a small individual circle. At which you do at the speed the commander has said you should go before.

•Dye set-

Get ready to go at a diagonal line from the corner arena to the corner across.

•Comb set-

Get ready to do your own INDIVIDUAL cut across the arena.

•Cut set-

Get ready to follow your leader has they cut across the arena.

•Circle set-

Get ready to Make a small or large circle. Keep in mind that the size of the circle depends on how many people are in the line.

•Wave set-

Get ready to curl every other way. For example, if the person in front of you was going right, you go left. Ect.

•Twist set-

Get ready to curl left or right, then Trot for like a second, then curl the opposite way you went before.

•Walk set-

Get ready to walk.

The basics may seem hard, frustrating, and a lot to at first, but keep trying and it should become easy!

Ok, what are some of the tips you recommend?

Some of the things you need to learn are how to, keeps gaps small, go on go, memorize all the commands, get your horse maxed, the horse is usually a freisian or lippizaner, and to have fun! If you don't have fun then it strips everything out of this hobby.
