About Irene

Irene is a very sweet and active girl. She loves to play with the bubbles of her sponge filter and she is always trying to jump over the floating branches in her mini pond.

I got her on February 14th from JP. I actually approached JP and asked to see the bettas he had available way back in September. I saw Irene then, but I wasnt really interested in koi or females at the time. It wasnt until January when I decided I wanted a koi female so I asked JP if he had any females left. I was quite surprised no one had bought her already.

Irene loves her frozen brine shrimp! She tries to fit her mouth around the tongs when it’s snack time.

My favorite memory of her is when she first started eating. Most of my bettas take a few days to settle before eating, but Irene ate like a champ a couple hours after I got her. I love seeing my pets have an appetite.

Her blue sparkles are my favorite part of her!
