My Final Fantasy Playlist Challenge

Good day, I say! When I was looking around for things to do in the Amino, I found a certain challenge made by an ex-leader of this Amino. It's called the FF Playlist Challenge and I thought it would be fun to participate in this challenge. If you guys want to participate as well, feel free to !

I thought it would be better to make a playlist full of calming tracks instead of mixing it with action tracks like FFXV's Hellfire theme for example. Here is my list.

1. Fisherman's Horizon (FF8)

This track is always fun to listen to. It's a nice soundtrack for cheerful characters like Selphie and I personally enjoy listening to this one. I recommend listening to this if you either had a bad day or you want to be in a better mood.

2. Julia (FF8)

Another great theme of FF8. I had to add this one in the list because it's a beautiful track that reminds me of Laguna when he is nervous. I truly enjoyed this track.

3. The Price of Freedom (FF7 Crisis Core)

Ah the feels! This one will always have a special place in my heart. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that Zack is a true hero. This soundtrack was also used in a very popular scene where Sephiroth took on both Angeal and Genesis. He was chilling with them before the fight started and I love the fact that they really knew what the best track would be for certain moments. This one has to be in the list.

4. Aerith's Theme (FF7)

Another track with a special place in my heart. Aerith is one of my favorite ladies of FF and she got one of the best soundtracks as her theme. I can't explain how beautiful this track is. Glory to the ultimate Flower Girl!

5. Destiny (FF12)

I rarely see people talk about the soundtracks of FF12 but this game had a lot of great tracks as well. I don't know how to explain it but listening to soundtracks of this game made me feel like I was a king. May sound strange but that is the feeling that I got after listening to these tracks. Destiny is no different. I put this one in the list not only to make the FF12 tracks more known to the community but also because it just feels good listening to it. Don't be afraid to tell me what you think.

6. White Room (FF12)

This soundtrack was one of the reasons why a certain moment in the game was so impactful. If you plan to play FF12 and don't want to be spoiled, skip this part and move on to the next song.

...

So..a certain village was very peaceful and it seemed like they were the happiest people in the entire game but as you progress in the story, you will later come back to this village and there is not much left. The village basically got destroyed and the happy people were suddenly surrounded by death and despair. I really didn't expect to see this when I was first playing through the game but I do that this moment had a huge impact on me and it made me hate the empire even more. Since White Room was playing while you saw people struggling and dying, I believe that this strengthened that anger. Without that track, I wouldn't feel as bad as I did back then. This is the power of music.

7. Song of the Stars (FF15)

This is a song that stayed in mind for a long time. I notice that I am humming the song at work or when I am alone sometimes. It just goes automatically I guess. It goes without saying that I really like the song. It's definitely soothing enough to be in this list and I always think about Ravus when this song comes in mind. (He is one of my favorite characters in FFXV)

8. Prompto's Overworld Theme (FF15)

When I heard this track for the first time, I immediately knew that I needed it on my phone. I was waiting until it was released so that I could listen to it in my free time. A lot of time has past and I can still not get enough of this song. This is one of the tracks that I will never get tired of. Especially the last part is really good. If you want to chill, I recommend listening to this track.

9. To Zanarkand (FF10)

This is one of the holy two soundtracks that cannot be avoided and even in various events like Distant Worlds, they HAVE to play it since it's so popular. Saying that it's a masterpiece is not necessary and this track doesn't even need an explanation I feel. This is definitely the first track I think of when I think about FFX.

This was my playlist. I may make more in the future but the next one will contain action tracks. I also thought about making a Top 10 FF track list but I really can't choose between all those masterpieces. Thanks for reading and don't forget to make your own playlist! Catch ya all later ^^
