Upon The Stars

It's just another night

where moonbeams fall down;

I smile from delight

   of my wish come true,

I could see the stars

shining through the window,

hope they heal the scars

   decorated on me,

I won't open my eyes

so this dream won't end,

I can't face the lies

   and truths that hurt me,

I wish I can aid

other victims out there;

They'll stop being afraid

   and stay helpless like me,

Yet I, myself, am afraid,

I cannot let go,

the past got me chained,

   I could not be free,

Yet I want to reach

for that outstretched hand,

practise what I preach,

   but I, myself, am damned,

I wish upon the stars

to make my dream come true,

my hand over the scars

   decorated on me,

It's just another night

where moonbeams fall down;

I pity at the sight

   of the man in the mirror.
