1. What is your name/name/nickname?

Well, it's Kyrie, and it's based off on my real name

2. What age group do you belong to?

(c) 18-22

3. What continent are you from?

Asia (South-East Asia)

4. What is your first language? How many languages do you know?

My first language is Bicol, and I know at least 4 other languages. However, I am only fluent in 3 of them.

5. How did you discover this community?

I just looked for 'books', and this one popped up.

6. If you are newer here, what do you hope to do/learn/get out of this community?

N/A-- see 7

7. If you've been here for a while, what advice do you have for newcomers?

Just relax and have fun posting here your works, book reviews, and the like!

8. Do you consider yourself more of a reader or a writer?

Equal parts reader and writer, since if I'm not reading, I usually write (otherwise, I bake killer cookies, and they're to die for!)

9. What is your favorite kind of blog to make here (i.e. book reviews, poems, discussions...)? What is your favorite kind to read?

Hm, I love making poems as it certainly requires less work than writing a story chapter (but I do hope I could write more stories). I love reading anything that catches my attention, so I'm not exactly that picky... then again, it *has* to get my attention, so maybe I am a little picky.

10. What is your preferred reading age genre?

(b) Young Adult (YA), but also Children's Books. A lot of people underestimate them and what they can teach you.

11. What is your preferred reading genre (i.e. Fantasy, Chick-Lit, Thriller...)?

Fantasy!

12. What is your favorite book/series?

This is hard… but I'd like to go with Madeleine Roux' Asylum series. It's fun, really! Don't let the cover scare you!

13. Which book would you NEVER recommend to anyone?

This is more so on the emotional impact rather than content: Rebecca Nichols Alonzo's The Devil in Pew Number Seven. I can't stop crying while reading this, and even after I finished it, I still can't! All in all, not suitable for those that are quite sensitive. But, if you can handle being an emotional mess, this is a good choice.

14. Who is your favourite author?

C.S. Lewis, because it was his work- The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe- that made me the avid reader I am right now.

15. Have you ever published a piece of writing? If so, was it self-published or traditionally published?

I haven't… yet…

16. What format do you prefer writing in (i.e. short stories, poems, letters...)?

Poems first, short stories after.

17. What genres do you prefer to write (i.e. FanFiction, Romance, Mystery...)?

Fantasy! I also did some FanFiction, but I am having trouble with it. Oh, and I really want to have a go with something like Steampunk or Cyberpunk-esque stories. Maybe Dystopian as well.

18. What are some of your favorite book quotes? Any original quotes of yours that you'd like to share with all of us?

"Oh, you can't help that," said the cat. "We're all mad here." - Lewis Carol, Cheshire Cat

"There's no time to call for saviours untrue." - Me

19. If you were an animal, what animal would you be?

A cat… like the Cheshire Cat!

20. If you were a mythical creature, which one would you be?

Still something like the Cheshire Cat! Or how about a Niffler? That counts, right?

21. If you could befriend a fictional character or creature, who/what would it be and why?

Luna Lovegood! I love her so much! I mean, she's nice, kind, and usually sees the positive side of things.

22. Have you made any friends through this community? If not quite "friends", have you met any cool people you'd like to give a shoutout to?

The first human I have is with: Antonia •Always Books•!

Oh, and to my BFF Erasmus Peverell, who is also my BFF in real life.

23. In what age did you start reading? Did you a favorite childhood book?

I can't the exact age I started reading. All I know was that almost every other day, my dad or my sister would hand me a copy of Reader's Digest or an Archie comic book, respectively. At that time, I wasn't that hooked in reading.

24. Name three books you recently finished and instantly became favorites.

(a) Escape from Asylum - Madeleine Roux

(b) A Map of Days - Ransom Riggs

(c) To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee (this one's from a school homework… I had no intentions of reading it in the first place since I'm a really sensitive person, and since it's about racism… well… yeah…)

25. Name three books you recently finished and didn't like as much as you expected to.

(a) Wizard's Daughter - Catherine Coulter (I got it from my sister… the book and I didn't really clicked or something)

(b) Looking For Alaska - John Green (I was expecting a happy ending, but I forgot... it's by good ol' fishingboatproceeds. Why did I expect a happy ending, silly me...)

And actually, that's about it. Time and all prevented me from reading a lot, so I can't say for sure if I didn't like all the other books I have with me right now...

26. If you could befriend a book character, who would it be?

Lemony Snicket from the series "Ask The Wrong Questions". I really like his humour :smiley_cat:

27. If you could live in any literary world, where would it be and why?

The Wizarding World, of course. I mean, I could say Panem, but I'm really fond of not dying.

28. What book are you currently reading? Writers, what writing project are you currently working on?

In of reading, just FanFiction for now. For writing… well, I'm trying to write the Chapter 2 of 'Order Amidst Chaos'

29. Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

Listening to Music, Cooking, Baking, and Drawing

30. Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about yourself?

Well, I'm a nice person, but if you're mean or unreasonably rudeand all… let's just say that the devil got nothing on me.
