Nothing about the human existence is permanent. We may have a century to live while others only get minutes. Sometimes the human mind wanes and we lost our memories or a physical ability. Sometimes our time with someone is limited. We meet them and sets of certain circumstances pull us apart.

Write a story about limits. Our beloved characters could be enjoying the short time they have on vacation. Or perhaps their time together is cut short by something much more tragic.

My Love, My Life

Yuuko loves her husband and her children more than anything in the whole world but sometimes... She misses the time she was pregnant with the triplets.

From a chance encounter, Rose met the man who would become the love of her life. Though difficulties had been placed in their path they had found their own happiness together until one day fate tore them apart.

Forever

Viktor and Yuuri go through a hard time of a tragic time, as they try to get through it together. But they did have one lesson that time does not last forever.

Out Of Sight, Never Out Of Mind

Yuuri has had a secret that he's kept from everyone. After Viktor shows up at Hasetsu how will that change things, when time is already out.

What scene in Yuri on Ice comes to mind when you read this? Why?

In episode 10, we get a scene of Viktor sitting alone on a bench with Makka. He mentions that for 20 years he's neglected his life and love. I think in this moment Viktor is taking a moment to Breathe. His life has been lonely up until this point but not bad. Many of us in real life struggle with similar things. One part of our life tends to take over the rest and you lose sight of what's important. In Viktors case his skating took over and he wasnt enjoying his life or falling in love. In my case, my own mind and work kept me from having control and balance. You have to take a breath and reflect on what's important. Each day counts, but if today isnt good, theres always tomorrow, and every day beyond that.

It makes me think of Yuuri bombing at Sochi. I feel like this is something Viktor would have said to Yuuri if he had taken that photo opportunity at the airport.

Personality Traits

Magnanimous- big-hearted, noble and generous of spirit.

Choose a character in the YOI series that best fits this trait, explain why, and give an example. And give one trait they posses that isnt quite so good.

Phichit is a prime example of this. Although, he strives to do his best as all of the skaters competing, he also cheers each of them on and is excited when they perform well, especially Yuuri. A trait of his that may prove to be an issue in the future for the Thai skater is he is a bit fanciful. His dream is to have an ice show and have everyone compete in it. Although professional figure skaters do go on to coach and perform in shows it's difficult to do. Those athletes have to get the right funding and from their countries. Phichit enjoys the idea but I'm not sure he understands the reality of starting an ice show.

Minami. He would cut off a finger for you. He told Yuuri that he was inspired by his horrible skateand really helped pick Yuuri up. The one thing is that Minami is obnoxious, but I believe it is from being so young.
