Prologue

The ocean was silent. It was a calm night out at sea. A little fish decided to swim around for a bit and enjoy the night. It felt a slight push in the water. Then another and another. Soon, these “pushes” became waves.

SPLASH!

A woman fell into the water. In her hands were holding a small figure symbolizing a siren. For a moment, she just was just left there. Drowning in the ocean’s depths. It wasn’t until the little fish went up to investigate when it heard a familiar voice. Sirens. Before it could even swim away, it was fish food. The siren had come up to the woman, ing her webbed hand across the face.

When she saw what the woman was holding, she immediately let out a wail. Soon enough, a group of sirens had come up, each of them inspecting the human. One of them opened the hands of the woman and grabbed the figure. All the other sirens surrounded her, obsessing over it.

The siren gave one last look at the woman and kissed her tender lips. Her eyes shot wide open and let out a blood curling scream. Her neck got cut open, revealing gills. Her nails grew long and sharp and her hands became webbed. She held her neck, screaming in pain. The sirens just watched as her legs fused together, pulling in muscle and bones to create her tail. As they became one, it grew longer and changed its color. Ripped fins appeared on the end and the back. Her beautiful blue hair turned dark, black hair.

After the whole transformation, she just covered her face in silence. She no longer had beautiful tanned skin. Just scaley blue skin. When she finally uncovered her face, it was like nothing happened. Her sclera was pure black and her eyes were white. Without saying a word, she just swam away, ing the other sirens while carrying their treasure to the deep.
