I try to be here as much as I can.

It obviously changes depending

on how much free time I have

during a particular day/week, but

I would say I’m here at least an hour

daily, usually.

What genres do you mainly

write about?

I know that sounds stupid but

I seriously can’t answer that

question. When I write I don’t

usually think of any particular

genre, unless it’s something

required of course (e. g. If it’s a

challenge entry). Even now when

I look back on my pieces I can’t

really categorise what genre do

they belong to (in most cases).

Usually when I write I just try to make

up something that makes the reader

feel a certain emotion. Mainly I go

for fictional stories or poetry, I would

like to get a hang of writing thriller/

horror/mystery/suspense but I think

I still have a long way of practice

to be decent at that.

Do you like writing short

stories more or long stories?

I don’t really think of that when writing.

I just see how it goes rather than plan

beforehand whether I want it to be

short or long. Define short though, because I consider short a 600 word

story and as far as I know that’s not

really so short anymore :joy: Let’s just

say I like to write without a word limit.

Now you’re probably wondering then

why am I applying for Short Stories

Club? Because I have to learn how to

write short texts. It is required for my

finals and I tend to always go past the

word limit, so I have to learn how to

write short stories but still good ones.

This club is a great way to do just that!

Besides, short stories have something

special in them, those short pieces

that bring out certain emotions in

a reader, that’s something I’d like to

be able to pull off.
