◌ A/N AT THE END

-;;
No thorns can hurt like
a well-sharpened knife
Nor knives can cut like
words with hatred spoken
ion twined with venom
of love slipped and lost
That tastes like poisoned wine,
sweet but lethal
Might be the worst of banes
known to human heart
Kiss that leaves your lips
feel bitter, yet craving
Heart so used to love of
one can become, desperate
Even when it is no more,
you shall not let go
Because wounds so deep
give us hope that
One day, perhaps, we could
love as deep once more
Not half as much demons
live in Hell’s fires
As are trapped within human
heart on Earth
Tears that ran down your
cheeks in the rain
Could build oceans, drop
by drop, with sorrow
With waves high and loud,
as angry as your eyes
Love and hatred,
two sides of the same coin
We tossed our in the air,
held our breath
And watched as it landed
on the edge

A/N:
I’m struggling with some serious writer’s block and y’know usually poetry brings out some creativity and will to, well, do anything in me, so I figured I’ll give it a try. I’m not super proud of it but I suppose it’s better than what I thought I could manage. Thanks for reading!
