Day 1

How did you get into writing?

I had a teacher who used to let us write whatever we wanted every Friday. She'd give us prompts sometimes and they were always really silly and fun. On Mondays we'd write about our weekends and share with the class. I always really enjoyed the writing she got us to do and she was always so nice and would tell me what a good job I was doing and that made me feel really good about myself and confident.

I always really enjoyed when teachers would let us write spooky stories for Halloween.

I sadly haven't seen that teacher in a long time, though. I have a similar teacher now who let's us free write and gives us prompts sometimes, but she doesn't do it as often.

I'll always be thankful to that teacher for helping me develop my writing skills and make me feel good about myself. She had a really fun class and was a really nice person.
