DESCRIPTION

Ashira and Owen Akona are twins, born to the most respected people in all of Nakká, and are born into a world where being a sorcerer, werewolf, or even a neko, wasn't uncommon. But they were the only two people in their family born without anything, and because of that, they sadly, get treated differently than their sorceress sister Faith. They were the hated children of their family, but always got through whatever the world threw at them, as long as they were together

On the day before their 10th birthday, Ashira eavesdrops on her "parents." She learns that she and Owen were going to be executed the next day

Ashira and Owen wake up the next day with magic, werewolf ears and Neko ears. They run away and have been living in the forest ever since.

PROLOGUE:

"Let’s get this day over with” Ashira groaned and brushed out her short brown hair. She put her green T-shirt on with some short shorts and woke up her brother Owen. “Owen wake up,” Ashira poked Owen and chuckled, “We need to make breakfast before the witch wakes up”

“I’m up” Owen chuckled and ran to his closet to put on his black T-shirt and jeans. “What does the witch want for breakfast today?”

Ashira rolls her eyes “Hurry up dork,” she walks out of the room “I’ll be starting on breakfast when you finish”

Owen follows Ashira to the kitchen and they make pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hash browns, before hearing someone yell for them.

“And the witch needs us” Owen whispers. Ashira chuckles and starts to head to where the yell came from.

“You finish breakfast and I will see what Faith needs” Ashira walks into the room that the yell came from “Yes Faith” She asks brushing her fingers through her short hair “You called”

“I CANT FIND MY PURPLE CAT BOOTS!” Faith yells while throwing clothes and shoes across the room

Ashira sighs and walks over to Faith “You get dressed and I will find them” She hands Faith a purple romper and a leather jacket before looking through her closet for the boots. “Here they are!” Ashira hands her the boots “They were hidden in the back of the closet. And breakfast is ready when you are” Ashira hands her a staff with an amethyst for the power source.

TIME SKIP

“Owen I will be right back” Ashira says sneaking out of their room “Want any food?”

Owen nods and continues to read his comic book. Ashira stops on the stairs when she hears her parents talking to Faith

“The king said to bring them to the castle at 12:00pm sharp” Someone says. Ashira looks around the pillar she is behind and see’s that it was her mom

“BUT MOM!” Faith cries “I need them to be my servants!”

“No buts sweetie” Your dad says sternly “The king says that they need to be executed and we can’t go against the king”

“Why can’t they execute that brat next door” Faith whines “Why do they have to execute my servants Owen and Ashira?!”

Ashira runs upstairs, not wanting to hear anymore. She runs into Owen and her room and grabs her green duffel bag, packing it with all of her clothes and all of her important belongings.

“Hey Ash. What’s going on?” Owen says getting up and sitting next to Ashira

“Mom and Dad are taking us to the king tomorrow to be executed” Ashira whispers “I’m just being prepared to run when needed”

Owen follows your lead and packs his black duffel bag. Ashira watches him get up and pull two long strips of fabric out from under his bed. “We may need these” Owen pulls the fabric away and reveals two long swords, one with an emerald handle and her name etched in it with diamond, and the other with an obsidian handle and his name etched in it with ruby.

“So cool” Ashira says going to grab hers “Where did you get the money to buy these”

“Best you didn’t know,” Owen chuckled and put the fabric back on the swords “Put this in your bag”

Ashira takes her sword and puts it in her bag before hiding it under her bed

TIME SKIP

Ashira wakes up the next day to Owen being in a panicked and excited frenzy “What’s wrong Owen? Did Faith find the swords?” Ashira rubs her eyes and see’s something that she thought she would never see. Owen with Neko features, three Neko tails, and was using magic.

Owen looks at Ashira “Ash look in a mirror” Owen says with wide eyes

Ashira gets up and looks at herself and goes wide eyed. She had werewolf features, two werewolf tails, and she could use magic. “Owen we need to leave now” Ashira said grabbing her duffel bag and breaking their window. She throws Owen’s duffel bag at him and jumps out the window. Owen follows Ashira and they run to the forest.
