    "Rune!" Tem called out, purposely cracking her voice. Rune was currently writing up blogs for WA, and more specifically the KPH.

    "Yes, Ten?" Rune replied back, using the nickname that she had accidentally gave to the younger female. Rune stood up and sat next to Tem on the couch that the duo shared since they became roommates.

    "Can we compare hands again?" Tem asked, smiling innocently toward the older. Tem, to be fair, loved Rune's hands. They were soft and small, unlike her own. Hers were still soft, just not small.

    "Are you sure this isn't just so you can touch me?" Rune smirked, a playful glint in her eyes. Tem widened her eyes, "W-what? No!"

    Rune laughed, which was music to Tem's ears. Tem couldn't believe that she had met Rune face to face. It was during a KCON that Tem had to beg her parents to go to. They had been planning to meet there since Rune confirmed that she was going, so they took this as their chance to meet.

    Rune had been sitting under the large tree that she had fallen asleep under the last time when she came with her sister and mother, this time waiting for only her sister arrive back. The sun was showing itself to the face of Rune, the wind also making her brown hair flair.

    "Step out of them voices..." Rune sang to herself as the song repeated it self in her head.

    "Rune? I-is that really you?" Rune recognized that voice. It was Tem's. She jolted her head up and looked around, making eye with her online best friend.

    Stumbling, Rune stood up, tears in her eyes as she ran toward Tem, wrapping her arms tightly around the taller female. Tem returned the hug instantly, placing her head on Rune's shoulder.

    "Hey, we're like Chan and Felix," Tem started, her voice a mere whisper. "When JYP announced SKZ would debut as nine."

    "Hmm, you're right," Rune responded, still holding onto Tem for dear life. "but I still wanna do what minsung did during that one episode of the survival show."

    "And we can, after KCON of course." Tem replied, letting go of the shorter, older, female.

    Meanwhile Rune's sister was recording it all, and whispered, "cute." before calling the two unwilling to it to it, lovestruck females.

    "My hands are so dry though, why would you want to touch them?" Rune spoke, her voice going deeper as she hid away her hands.

    "Rune, I swear to god, your hands are the softest thing on this earth! also they're really small and they make me soft!" Tem exclaimed, pulling Rune's wrist and showing her hands. Though Rune was self-conscious about her hands because of her hangnails and cuts near her nails, being with Tem made her feel better about herself.

    "I don't deserve you, Tem." Rune mumbled, pulling her hands away and hiding them once again.

     It was happening again.

    Tem knows about Rune and her episodes of depression, and anxiety. When she found out, the taller vowed to make Rune feel better. The episodes rarely happened, but when they did they hit hard. Tem often found Rune huddled in a corner crying to herself while rocking back and forth. It pained Tem to see Rune like that. Therefore, the vow was made.

    "Rune, stop telling yourself that. Please," Tem started, pulling Rune so that the older was closer to her. "When I look at you I see an angel, someone with the world's brightest eyes and the most beautiful voice and personality."

    Tears began to spill from Rune's eyes.

    "All my life I never felt as though I was loved. It felt fake what my friends back home used to tell me, but now that I met you, I feel more loved than ever before."

    Pulling Rune so that she was laying on top of her, Tem positioned themselves so that they were lying on their sides, Rune's head buried in the crook of Tem's neck.

     "Funny how they say I'm supposed to be top," Rune spoke, clearly talking about the duo's Wattpad Amino friends. Tem felt her face burn. "but you're my weakness, so we're fine."

     Tem giggled as she nudged Rune.

    "Rest, you coconut cheese stick."

    "But I'm your coconut cheese stick." Rune purred before exhaling and closing her eyes. Tem followed suit and they two fell asleep, legs entangled but hearts beating for each other.
