There is a picture in the stars

Hidden within hazy purple skies

It appears once every promised fortnight

When the lilac mist rises in magical coils

Bending like a lavender river coiled

Beyond the estuary ading ocean and sky

When waves of wine and plum-puff clouds billow forth

The tumultuous indigo only sighs

As the indulging scent of the heliotrope seeps within

The purple oceans bleed with indigo froth

Washing aside mauve dipped valleys

The jaded daybreak writhes restlessly

Holding impatient vigil over the raging inferno below

Of savage slumbers tossed about in a sea of violet dreams

Amethyst visions speak and murmur of hopes and fears and

The last breath of old people at the end of the tunnel of hope

The cerulean blue skies shiver

Stained purple with nightmarish tears

The lilac reveals frozen flowers of clouds

Hung between twin banners of worlds

Dripping down blood with hellish cries

Amethyst fumes haunt my eye sockets

Clenched knots of anxiety in isolation

Chains of solid purple bind my thoughts

They speak of dunes where violet sands slip and fall

Yet all I see are patterns of purple pearls

Tucked deep within fractured sighs
