This idea has definitely spun into a rather lengthy and big plot. I didn’t expect it to be so fun to write. It definitely has the potential to be a multi-chapter fanfic. For now, I’ll be posting the pieces kind of as a only slightly edited version. After post race is over, I’ll definitely be taking a more thorough look at it and piecing together the chapters into something more coherent.

For a Reason Part Four

Hinata slid the door open to his home and was immediately tackled by his younger sister, Natsu. “Welcome home onii-chan! Oh it’s not just Kage-san with you today? Who are these two? The clothes they wear are weird. So is that guy’s hair.” The little girl asked in a questioning tone as she looked back in forth between Midoriya and Todoroki.

“Ah, hello Natsu!” Hinata greeted cheerfully. “These are Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki. They’re exchange students from another school. Is mom home right now?”

Natsu shook her head rapidly, “No, she’s out shopping for dinner.” Then she turned to the other three, “Hi Kage-san! Glad you could come over again! It’s nice to meet you, Todoroki-san and Midoriya-san. I’m Shoyo’s little sister, Natsu.”

Kageyama smiled kindly at the little girl and acknowledged her greeting with a little nod. Midoriya and Todoroki both smiled down at the little girl who was very much a miniature Hinata. “Hello there, Natsu-chan!” Midoriya greeted cheerfully.

“Nice to meet you as well, Natsu-chan.” Todoroki greeted with a small smile on his face.

Natsu smiles cheerfully at both of them and then she turned back to her older brother, “Onii-chan, I know mom is okay with Kage-san staying overnight since he is your boyfriend and everything. But did you tell her about these two?”

Hinata chuckled a little uncomfortably, “Not exactly, that’s why I was wondering if she was home yet. There’s sort of special circumstances behind both of them coming so suddenly. Don’t worry about it, I’ll handle telling mom.”

Natsu looked at her brother doubtfully for a little bit before shrugging, “Alright if you’re sure.” Then she turned back towards their guests, “I’ll show you where everything is in the house! Come on!” Natsu exclaimed this as she grabbed one of their hands in hers. She barely gave them time to take their shoes off before pulling them both further into the house.

Kageyama smiled slightly at the action before remarking to Hinata, “I see your sister is a bundle of energy as always.”

Hinata sighed a little bit before smiling fondly, “I honestly don’t know where she gets it all from.”

“So what are you going to tell your mom?” Kageyama asked in a questioning tone. He was met with silence and Kageyama sighed. “You don’t have a plan do you, Shoyo?”

Hinata groaned, “Beyond the exchange student part, not really.” He itted this hesitantly and he ran a hand through his hair nervously.

Kageyama smiled fondly at his lover, he had always thought that Hinata was cute when he was flustered. “Alright well, first let’s get them settled in and wearing some more normal clothes. Then we can come up with a plan.”

Hinata beamed up at his boyfriend with a bright smile. “I’ve told you how amazing you are right?”

Kageyama smirked and leaned down to press a firm kiss on the spiker’s lips. He pulled away a little bit later and replied, “You could do with saying it a little bit more.”

Hinata had a blush dusting his cheeks as met his lover’s gaze. “If it gets you to kiss me like that, then I’ll make a point to say it more often.”

Kageyama smiled and threaded his fingers with Hinata’s and squeezed comfortingly. He leaned down again and kissed Hinata again. A gesture that the spiker returned eagerly. Kageyama pulled away and then smiled at Hinata, “Come on, let’s go find out where your sister dragged those two.”

Hinata nodded in agreement, allowing Kageyama to pull him further into the house. He had a smile on his face and thought about how l lucky he was. Kageyama was perfect and he really was the only one for him.

Conclusions

Awww this was a cute little section for me to write. The last part got a bit of Tododeku moments. This time it was Kagehina’s turn to get some chance in the spotlight.

I’m now super tempted though to write a prequel to this series about how both Kagehina and Tododeku began a thing. Maybe even a piece on the fight that sent Midoriya and Todoroki to Hinata’s and Kageyama’s world. So many ideas and no time to do them!
