Terminal Limbo

And here we are again

Stuck in terminal limbo--

Constant waiting,

and rushing around,

and waiting some more,

with people as equally bored and frustrated as you are,

a huddled mass of monotonous people

and belongings filling endless rows of seats

and snaking lines as they stand in silence in

room after room of florescent lights,

You are a face, to be judged briefly,

Going to various destinations with stories

No one cares about, no they don't

Care who you are,

And so you wait in the airport for what

seems like eternity--

A limbo of meaningless activity.
