Trained at a young age by the military and CIA, Persephone rose through the ranks to become a highly skilled, proficient secret agent. She succeeded in a merciless and cutthroat organization by being versatile, perceptive, and clever; mental dexterity was just as important as physical dexterity. Because of her rigorous training and unwavering convictions, Persephone tended to be overly militant and boldly procedural with her violence—which made her a dangerous weapon. Persephone could easily best dozens of fighters in combat; she could process multiple observations in seconds and be steps ahead of her assailants. Given the way she was “re-wired” by the intelligence agency, Persephone approached life with pursuit of calculated risk and excitement, and with a sharp, short-term tactical focus. Persephone saw the obvious and immediate thrill in achieving victory; but for the majority of her life, she had not considered the larger picture, the long-term consequences of her actions, and the pull toward a more purposeful meaning behind a lethal punch.

⋫ It might seem counterintuitive, but a loner like Persephone was a genius when it came to counseling any kinds of relationships. Reading micro-expressions, detecting social cues, and harnessing precise emotional reactions were some of her most imperative skills. As a world-class agent, Persephone knew that striking the perfect balance of charm and intimidation were key to manipulating her target and achieving her mission’s goals. She held a great sense of self-awareness, and knew that, despite her brilliance, she must remain approachable, if not convince others to underestimate her. She also knew that women are often undervalued as fighters and thus dialed up her feminine charm when needed.

Though she was a killer by definition, she was not untender. She did not lack comion. Unlike typical spy operatives, Persephone was comfortable achieving closeness and showed an openness to authentic allyships—to a degree. She sought no attachments, romantic or otherwise, and did not chase the approval of others. She pursued another quest altogether. She expertly know how to do anything that's illegal and what to do in order to successfully and safely get away with it. She can easily and flawlessly get away with any and every crime or illegal thing and not get caught. She steals items without her opponents knowing or sensing the act. As is specialized at snatching, grabbing, and taking things including being capable of breaking into homes or other places to steal. She's skilled with crossing around others sneaking their jewelry, wallets, or items, along with placing them back to its original owners in plane sites with ease, and utilizing chemistry when opening secured objects such as locked safes and able to by security systems. With a mind at peak potential, it gives Persephone the advantage of formulating elaborate plans and schemes, and especially notable at modifying plans to adapt to unforeseen circumstances at short notice within mere seconds without leaving any traces that lead to herself. Persephone can blend in with the shadows, slip into tight spaces, avoid detection from guards, and escape without leaving behind any evidence. With her extensive training,  Persephone was able to not only hide in shadows but even in plain sight, she can slip into spaces that should be physically impossible to fit/slip into, and she can even steal without even having to be present at a location.

⋫ Master Acrobat and Gymnast: Persephone demonstrated her acrobatic feats by doing a flip off of her roof and landing lightly on her feet on the ground. Due to her extensive training with the Military and CIA Academy, She's is highly skilled with parkour and free-running and able to quickly move over rooftops and climb buildings, managing to keep up with a car this way. Even when handcuffed, Astrid. can perform an agile backflip, bringing her hands back in front of her torso. She also utilized her agility to successfully gain the upper hand against anyone. Her agility also allowed her to gain the upper hand during her battles. She could even use her supreme agility to dodge bullets even at close range. Astrid can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips, leap across rooftops, and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little to no effort. Additionally, Astrid's skilled in the art of parkour, allowing her to overcome obstacles, such as walls and gaps with ease. She can do parkour/run on/jump on any surface, whether fragile, non-level, rough, slippery, vertical, horizontal, diagonal, moving, accelerating, rotating, in the air, narrow, small, shaking and so on. ⋫ Persephone was born on March 28th, in Tokyo, Japan. Her father led every military and every spy agencies in the world, while her mother led a large and feared mafia group and every crime organizations in the world in secrecy. Even though Persephone’s parents weren’t divorced, Persephone's mother moved to Seoul, Korea shortly after her birth for work-related reasons. Her younger sister, Harmony, was born just a year after, in Seoul, Korea. Even though Persephone and Harmony lived so far apart, they called each other almost everyday.

⋫ When Persephone's ability manifested at the age of 2, her father couldn’t hold back his excitement. He began training her almost immediately, seeing her potential. He hoped that she could replace him as the Head of every military and every spy Organizations in the world. As time ed, it became clear to Persephone that she was different from her peers. Young and eager to learn, she was maturing at outstanding rates. She was able to memorize, recall, learn, understand, and master everything almost effortlessly, and even put that knowledge to good use. It got to the point where most teachers were unable to teach her anything, because she had already taught herself. Naturally, her father was incredibly proud, which only encouraged her to keep going.

⋫ Persephone soon realized that being a child prodigy wasn’t as great as she thought. Her father’s training was tough and relentless, especially when considering how old she was, her father expected her to be perfect, she must be stronger than everyone, smarter than everyone. A prime example of this is a cruel exam her father forced her to participate in, once she was old enough. Persephone was put inside of a forest inhabited by many wild animals, her only goal was to survive and escape. Growing up in a country with cold winters, Persephone was able to survive the night with relative ease, however the wild animals were still a major threat. Out of the 100 children participating, Persephone was one of few survivors. This would be enough to mess with anyone’s head, no less a child, but Persephone enjoyed seeing her father’s proud smile so much she couldn’t ever say no. Due to this, Persephone realized that being consistently perfect, wasn't longer a accomplishment anymore, but rather an expectation. Persephone accepted that this was exactly how everything was suppose to be, her role was to be the best and it's not a surprise to Persephone that she was in a different level from everyone, everything was too easy for Persephone. But that wasn't true, everything she has accomplished, doesn't just come from nowhere, Persephone worked hard to get where she is.

⋫ This persisted throughout Persephone's entire life. Her training was incredibly harsh on both her physical and mental psyche, demanding obedience and discipline. However, it was no doubt that Persephone was becoming the strong, capable daughter her father has always hoped for. At this point, she was able to sur even the generals of her father’s military, and could take on many opponents at once, emerging unscathed. Despite this, she consistently trains every day, just so that she could see her father’s proud smile again. It didn’t help that her father constantly reminded her that her sole purpose in life is completing her mission and to be perfect, further perpetuating the idea that she needs to train hard if she wants to be worth anything.

⋫ Persephone was working herself to the bone, getting up before sunrise and finally falling asleep after sunset, without even taking the time to stop and rest. In the little free time she did have, she spent it learning about medicine and hacking, teaching it to herself before eventually mastering it. Persephone never once dared disobey her father. She was loyal and obedient, how he always wanted to be. Her father, impressed with her improvement, implemented a stricter, harsher, hellish training program. Even though Persephone's new training was almost impossible to bear, she still never disobeyed her father, and tried her best to succeed at everything she did. Persephone became incredibly stoic and level-headed. She almost never lost her cool, and always knew what to do, as if she had an answer for everything.

ᴛᴇᴇɴᴀɢᴇ ʏᴇᴀʀs :

⋫ Persephone's father began to say that Persephone was second to none, even beginning to question whether or not he himself could beat her. Even though she specialized in long range combat, she was a formidable foe in close-range combat as well. Her extensive training allowed her to have a danger-sense of sorts. Persephone can detect most dangerous and hidden presences without having to rely on her ability, making it near impossible to sneak up on her.

⋫ After years of training in the Military, where she grew up, Persephone's dad decided to move her to the states. There, she enrolled in an academy specializing in training CIA agents. There, she learned more about the world of spy-craft. Persephone quickly became a star pupil, thriving in the usually strict environment as she had dealt with a lot worse back at home. Rumors spread like wildfire, and eventually, everyone was aware of Persephone's exceptional abilities. Her great extraordinary skillsets earned her a lot of praise, however there was a single incident that continues to haunt her. During one of Persephone's training sessions, things got completely out of hand. In a freak accident, Persephone accidentally killed another student. Persephone was absolutely mortified, but nobody seemed to care. In fact, her father even praised her, saying that she was going to grow up to be a strong and powerful woman.

⋫ Scarred by the whole experience, Persephone couldn’t do anything but continue moving forward. Once she finally graduated, her father forced her to get her tubes tied, as a cruel graduation gift. Her father said it was to “avoid distractions and focus solely on missions”. Persephone had been so used to obeying her father she didn’t even object to it. At first, Persephone didn’t feel much different, but as time ed she realized most of her strong emotions and urges began to disappear. At first, she tried to reject this, scared of what might happen, but eventually, she began to accept it. There was one thing that remained constant though, and that was Persephone's love for her sister, Harmony. Persephone had been encouraging her sister since before Harmony's ability had even manifested. She loved her dearly, and that never changed.

⋫ After Harmony got expelled from Agwin, Persephone's father suggested that they move back in with her mother. Persephone was overjoyed. She could finally see her sister face to face, every day! Although, it came with a price. Because Harmony was a “late bloomer”, she had developed an extreme distaste for the hierarchy. Harmony was a raging, out of control high tier who was picking fights left and right. Her parents had managed to keep her rebellion under wraps for the time being, but they weren’t sure how long it would be before people found out. Persephone's father figured it would be best if Persephone moved in with her sister, hoping her calm, obedient nature would rub off on her. Persephone was also supposed to act as Harmony's bodyguard, however she was forbidden from telling her. He figured Harmony would not take well to having someone actively protecting her.

⋫ When Persephone finally moved in, her parents wanted her to have a fight with her sister, to see who was more powerful. Persephone was extremely hesitant, but eventually obliged. It looked like Persephone was going to win, however Harmony was starting to get pretty injured as a result. Persephone stopped immediately, almost killing her father in a fit of pure rage. Thankfully, Harmony was able to stop her and help calm her down, but just barely. Persephone calmed down and tended to her sister’s wounds after the fight was over, but she was still livid at her parents for making the two fight each other. Despite the incident that Persephone caused, her father was forced to make Harmony and Persephone regularly having turfwars against each other with Persephone winning every match. In response with the consistent and brutal "Turfwars" caused Persephone to retaliate by almost killing her own father, good thing Harmony was there to stop her from doing it.

⋫ On Persephone's first day of school, she ended up befriending John, Seraphina and the Mikaelson Sisters. They were her first true friendships, and so she cherished them greatly. Persephone was also able to claim the title of Ace shortly after, she forced herself to lose, so that Seraphina can be the Wellston's Ace. Slowly but surely, Persephone was able to get her sister to stop fighting so much, and instead encouraged her to think of ways to stop fights, rather than start them. As a result of the long commute to Wellston, Persephone's father bought her her very own ducati motorcycle. Persephone picked up street racing, and because of her extensive military training, she was able to win quite a few races and make some decent cash off of it as well. She also fights in underground fighting arenas, and due to her training, she was the unbeatable fighter in the ring.

⋫ When Persephone and Harmony found out about vigilantism and EMBER, Harmony decided to become a vigilante, helping the low tiers that couldn’t help themselves. But when Persephone looked into it more, she realized being a vigilante was incredibly dangerous. In order to keep her sister safe, Persephone taught her many of the things she learned from her training, in hopes that it would provide Harmony with the means to protect herself from EMBER if the need arose. Instead of becoming a vigilante, Persephone took on a job as a nighttime mercenary so she could help Harmony financially and help the world by having a job that's legal.

⋫ Persephone still holds a lot of trauma from her life, especially from her father’s training. The direst real, traumatic event she experienced was the cruel test her father forced her to participate in. She could’ve easily died that night, which is stressful for anyone to go through, however she was just a child. Even though she brushed it off, happy to see how proud her father was, the event still clings to her to this day. Persephone also holds a lot of trauma from the time she accidentally killed a student. She feels immensely guilty from the whole incident, and she was absolutely shocked at the fact that nobody really seemed to care. Persephone is still traumatized by the fight she had with her sister. She and Harmony have never fought like that before, and she was terrified that she might’ve accidentally hurt her too badly, or even caused a scar. After the incident with the student, she’s terrified that she might accidentally kill someone she cares about. Finally, she found out about what her father did to her as a graduation gift, her condition of feeling apathetic, empty and numb. She became resentful of her condition, she wanted to experience life like other people. She wanted to feel joy, and sorrow. She tried doing anything that might cause her to feel something. Guilt, shame, regret, anything. But, nothing worked. No matter what she did, no matter how, extreme, she could not feel anything. And as time es she became numb to it and finally accepted it.

ꜱɪɢɴɪꜰɪᴄᴀɴᴛ ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛꜱ :

⋫ Naturally, Persephone has had a pretty interesting life, and therefore quite a few significant events. The first of which being her sister's birth. Harmony changed Persephone's life for the better, and Persephone would be in a much darker place without her. The next significant event is when she manifested her ability. This is when Persephone's father realized she has a lot of potential, and this is also where she started training. The third significant event is when Persephone took the test. as mentioned in the trauma section, Persephone still holds quite a bit of trauma from this to this day, despite brushing it off when she was a child. Going to the CIA academy was a pretty big event for Persephone, especially when she accidentally killed a student. The CIA agency project showed her a new perspective of the world she wouldn't have learned otherwise. Moving to Wellston was also a big event. She made her first friends there, and she was also able to see her sister face to face. She’s still extremely mad at her parents for forcing her to fight her sister, and it left a pretty big impact on the both of them.
