When the activates their ability, they will have enhancements in their smell and vision, allowing them to smell things and see things up to 10-yards away from the . Mariposa s are also given an enhanced lung capacity to allow the to be able to hold their breath for up to 5 minutes underwater.

Mariposa s are also given a wide variety of constructs to generate, one of the most basic ones being the ability to generate wings. The can generate 4 wings upon their back and use these wings for flying and as a wall to protect others. They can also generate a tongue-like construct that they can manipulate, allowing the to go up to 5-yards away with the construct. The final construct this ability can make is its own small butterflies. The can make up to 10 butterflies and manipulate them to attack or restrain others. While this isn't very efficient, the main use of these butterflies are for tracking as the is given a sense of where these butterflies are at, as well as a 1-yard feel of what is around them.

The final thing Mariposa can do is generate poison, kinda. While the can't make poison and kill someone with it, this poison looks more at other's aura channels. If the manages to make with a foe through skin , or if the foe is touched by the 's aura, Mariposa can induce a poison that will drain at other's aura slowly. After 5 minutes the foe will have their level cut in half, and after 10 minutes their ability will be rendered completely unusable for another 10 minutes, or when the deactivates their ability.
