Hey everyone!! Welcome back to another post for my monthly certification! It feels like it's been so long since I last posted one of these, even though it was just last month. January always feels massively long. And, ittedly, I haven't been here much due to issues in my personal life. So it feels like it's been a while! I'm glad to be posting again, especially for my girl. I miss Alicent so much guys. I don't really have high hopes for Season 3, I'm not even gonna lie. I just feel like they've already taken the story in an entirely different direction that's gonna be hard to come back from. But, I'll still watch it just to see if they manage to salvage it. And if not then it's unlikely that I'll watch season 4. But, we live in hope! For now, I'm just happy that I have enough content from both season 1 and 2 to consistently make monthly posts and try and have some differences in each one. I just hope it never becomes a struggle. And I'm really hoping that I can be more active on here soon, too! Hopefully my life gets less stressful and I can sort out everything. Cause I miss it here lowkey </3. But anyway! Let's get into the post!

For this post, I have two blend edits. I was browsing through some edits that I did, but never posted. And I found two Alicole edits that I can't recall posting, and I checked and couldn't see them. So current me is thanking past me for not posting them :sob: I made them when the episodes themselves actually came out, so they might be a bit outdated compared to what I do now. But, with how hectic my month has been, I just did not have the energy. Without any further ado, here are my Alicole blend edits!!

There isn't really much to these edits. However, I will explain as best I can!! For these edits, I usually use anywhere from 5 to 7 images just so the format is spread out and so there's a few things to look at. I start off by ing images that I think will work, which are typically images that are in the 16:9 format and that have plenty of surrounding image that can then be erased for the blend look. Once I have all of the images that I want, I open up picsart and open up a white background image. I change the format to 3:4 and then add my first image as a base. Once the first image is added at the bottom, I decide on what layout I want for the other blend images. Next, I add my centre image and click on the eraser tool. The one thing that I always change in every single blend edit is the hardness of the eraser. I only ever have it on 1 to give a much softer blend look, I don't want it to look harsh or precise. Blend edits are just meant to look soft. Once the middle image is erased and blended, I carry on with the layout of the edit.

Seeing as the layout of each blend edit is different, it's hard to describe the process fully. However, the things that I keep the same are always having an image at the bottom to sort of act as my base and having an image at the top, too. I always keep the setting for hardness as 1 so that the blend edit looks smooth. Apart from that, though, I try and do something different for each layout. Once the edits are finished, I export them and open them up into polarr. I never use psds for blend edits since I think that psds are too harsh for them, polarr filters are much softer and smoother. Once I've found a filter that I like, I export the edits and then thats them done!!
