Queen of the Ashes

After seeing the terrible finale to GoT. I created a continuation of it, making sense of what I just witnessed. I did not want to accept that was the end for Dany. Making her a genocidal power hungry maniac in a matter of 3 episodes is not what I imagined for her; and to just get stabbed with no last words by her nephew / lover. The final episode was a big slap to the face and this is what allows me to sleep at night.

Jon Snow has just stabbed Queen Daenerys in the heart. Drogon destroyed the iron throne and grabbed his mother. Flying away with her body. Drogon flew for days until he reached Ashai.

The Order of the Fiery Hand receives Drogon and takes his mother into their temple. They start to perform the ritual that will potentially revive Dany’s lifeless body. A few hours later, Daenerys Targaryen rises from the platform screaming. ing the betrayal she had faced by the hands of her lover. She swears revenge on Jon. Kinvara, a red priestess encourages Dany to stay calm and told her that the lord of light had other plans for her.

“Plans? What plans?” Dany replies. “He wants you to stop the Others from returning”, responds Kinvara. “But the Night King has already been defeated!” Kinvara explains to her that Bran, The Three Eyed Raven was marked by the Night King and that he will turn into the next one.

This information shocks Dany and she heads out to reunite with Drogon. Drogon is overjoyed to see his mother alive and well. She prepares to mount up when Kinvara tells her to wait.

“The destruction you brought upon King’s Landing wasn’t your own doing,” Kinvara exclaims. Dany re the fit of rage and anger that had washed over her that day and then her completely blacking out. Before she knew it, hundreds of thousands of people were burned alive, or trapped under ruble. She had ed killing all of those innocent women and children and how she had gone against everything she believed in. She starts crying and mourning all the people she brutally murdered.

Kinvara continues, “The Three Eyed Raven posses powers that can take control of other living beings. He can persuade them to do actions they wouldn’t normally do. It was his plan all along to use your grief and loss to drive you into madness. Causing the person you love to betray you.”

Dany says to Kinvara, “No it was all my fault! It was right for Jon to kill me! There was no stopping my thirst for power. Death was the only way. My desire to rule overcame me, destroying the person I said I would be; to claiming the rightful place as the Mad King’s daughter.”

Kinvara replies, “Yes, you did kill all those people but do you even ordering Drogon to do so?”

“No, after the bells rang I was filled with anger, and I ed the deaths of my children and friends. I then made my way towards the Red Keep... and that’s all I can .”

“The Three Eyed Raven has been plotting to kill off your line for a long time now. He was the one making your father mad. Which then made your father’s allies and friends turn against him. He did the same thing to you. He is a product of the Older gods, used as a vessel to take control of the masses to spread their influence. Rhollor wants you to stop his poison from spreading.”
