Dodge | Inktober #4

Hello Thrones Amino!!

Yet again another post today for prompt number four of Aimee gave me an idea and so I wrote out a little short story based upon it. I hope you enjoy.

On the street below the Red Keep there were people busily ing by, coming both to and from the castle. It was one of the most busiest places in the Seven Kingdoms. So many maids and servants ing by carrying demands from the lords and the King and Queen. The life of a servant in the Red Keep wasn't an easy one to say the least.

One male ing the area was squire to a knight. Carrying armour much too heavy for him to hold. See he has only recently become a squire and is quite a thinly build boy. He did try his best but his best was less than mediocre. He tripped over his own feet, he was blinded by the falling brown curls of his hair falling over his eyes. It didn't help some of the other men liked to push him around. It was just another bad day for this boy.

ing by the squire was a maid, coming from one of Queen Margaerys lady friends chambers. Whilst the lady was out. The maid was busy cleaning her chambers and changing the sheets. She was just on her way to bring the clean sheets to the Ladys chambers when suddenly she heard the loud blow.

The squire jumped at the sound dropping the armour to the floor then immediately panicked , worrying he damaged the knights armour. He went scrabbling to pick it up. Meanwhile the maid was looking for the source of the sound. Her eyes widened looking down into Kingslanding to see the Sept blown to smithereens. She fell to the floor in tears. Her lady was in there. Along with Queen Margarey who was ever so kind.

Too busy in her tears the maid became unaware of her surroundings, it wasn't until. "Look out" the squire jumped to grab the maid and pull her aside. "We barely dodged it" he was breathing heavy and looking to the scene. The maid followed his gaze. Her eyes already reddened from her tears widened at the sight and she left out a loud scream

There before them was the body of King Tommen after he had just leaped from the window of his chambers.

Safe to say I'm not sure everyone thought this would be the route I would go but yep aimees idea was dodging Tommen.
