Be 'Marry Sue'. Be so overpowered people cringe. Be an underpowered little baby everyone has to take care of. It genuinely doesn't matter. Just shift to the reality that makes you happy/feel loved/whatever it is you're searching for.

Omg this! People judge you when you shift to be overpowered and people also judge you when you shift as essentially a “side character” everyone should just do what makes them happy! :)
I’ve seen so many people judge people for being “helpless” in a sense, but they don’t realize that that person is not them. Some people like the feeling of being like a god, some people don’t like the attention always on them. It’s all dependent on the person and it’s like people are forcing their desires on them. I literally see so many shifters shame others for liking being human. Not everyone is the same person and will want the same exact things! I’m so glad someone finally agrees!!

I genuinely couldn't care less what they're doing as long as they aren't hurting children, animals, or being bigots tbh. There is little someone could do that I'd care enough to shame lol
EXACTLY. I want to relatively keep with the storyline but I also want to be a special little snowflake that doesn’t struggle and can always win fights
