Welcome aboard again to another challenge blog!

It's been a week since I posted a blog. School is tiring as always. By the way, how are you today?

The time has come! I've been waiting for this! So, I participated in this challenge because of my bookworm side. I love books and they are my escapism. My favorite genres are children and adult fantasy and slice-of-life.

My character:

SATSUKI KUSAKABE

Satsuki is one of the most wonderful character in Studio Ghibli universe. She's the beautiful older sister in My Neighbor Totoro.

I chose her for this challenge because the five books that I picked is her personality and these will guide her in her grown-up stage.

THE LITTLE PRINCE BY ANTOINE DE SAINT-EXÙPERY

Mr. Antoine de Saint-Exùpery did a great job in crafting children's imagination and adult's personal perspective. For a young Satsuki, she may view it like a fantastic book but as the time ed on, this is her eye-opener while walking in adulthood.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA BY C.S. LEWIS

Filled with fun, love and adventure, Narnia series will strengthen Satsuki's beliefs. Along with the Pevensies and the jolly characters, she will discovered each level of understanding and responsibilities. Narnia is not all about fantasy elements but also, symbolism through growth into better person.

THE HOBBIT BY J.R.R TOLKIEN

Another magnificent tale to be told! In a dangerous yet fantastical journey, Bilbo Baggins will guide Satsuki in discovering the true nature of the world. Dressed in fantasy lore, Mr. J.R.R. Tolkien precise human's sickness, "Gold Fever" in each characters. This book will let her realize that achieving dreams and goals is risky. Some people will keep you down until you came at the turning point.

CLASSIC FAIRY TALES BY HANS    CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN

The legendary fairy tales will give Satsuki a perspective of joy and sufferings. It's not all about princesses, true love or even happy ending. Mr. Andersen proclaim that each circumstances have their own way to survive. It is a matter for each character how will handle it.

IBONG ADARNA BY JOSÈ DE LA CRUZ

A whimsical, magical filipino epic featuring the mystical bird, Ibong Adarna. The Princes of Bebarnia will show their true colors to Satsuki. The Adarna is the reflection of the whole story. Why generosity and comion is always meet the best ending.
