In my opinion, I think the most underrated Studio Ghibli film, is Porco Rosso. No matter if this wasn’t cleverly thought like Spirited Away, or Princess Mononoke. The feeling... the vibe... the aesthetic, is everything to please for. And Porco Rosso as a character, he’s just so lovable! Being my favourite Ghibli character! I really like the Italian, western look. The bar... the sea and sand. I really like it! And let’s just talk about some of the artistry from this film! It really is gorgeous... specially when Porco Rosso is standing on the boat. Looking and the scenic sunset sky... with all the seagulls flying around. It really is a beautiful scene! Specially with the music! And it’s really fun to just see Porco Rosso go off being a bounty hunter! I love the aesthetic of this film... and the characters are lovable... the music... the artistry, the humour great! I think why specially people in Japan why this movie didn’t hit the box office as much. Because the western aesthetic. But I really like it! :+1:
