Hello! A while back I told y'all the story of how I ended up accidentally getting two Rose Quartz flags. I bought one, but also received a free one as a gift for preordering the soundtrack on vinyl.

I decided it was time to find a sort of classy, semi-permanent way to display one of them. So I bought this flagpole and also a wall mount for it!

First, I used the fasteners to attach the banner to the pole.

Now to figure out where I want it to be!
I picked my living room. I don't wanna hide something like this in one of the bedrooms or my office. I want people to see it when they visit and know a Crystal Gem lives here! 🤣

So I picked a spot and got busy installing the bracket low on the wall. It's a six-foot flagpole, so I didn't want it to hit the ceiling.
I know many of y'all are young and haven't ever had your own house or been allowed to choose decorations, but if that's you, this for later: if you have to use screws to attach something to the wall, it is often SO much easier if you hammer a nail into that spot first, and then pull the nail back out with the back of the hammer and put the screw in, using a screwdriver to tighten. (And of course make sure the nail isn't thicker than the screw will be, or it won't be able to grip the walls of the tunnel you made.)

Okay, so I attached the bracket in its fully upright position.

Then I slid the pole in!

Straight up and down does not do much for display, though.

The bracket is adjustable. I loosened the lugnut and reattached it with the teeth one unit forward.

Much nicer!

Check it out!

And it does this when the fan blows on it

I'm so happy to have it in my house, and it's actually really easy to remove it from the bracket in case I want to, I dunno, carry it into battle :sunglasses:
Plus I've got the other flag in case I need a loose one.
Hooray for Rose's flag!

The kit I bought came with fasteners. You'd just have to make sure the fastener was slim enough to attach to the pole. The flagpole I got was one inch thick so I made sure the pole and mounting bracket and everything associated was calibrated for 1 inch.
