Splat Force III: Bolton's Reign; Deleted Scenes

This is Nomad! Today, I would like to present to you all the deleted scenes for Splat Force III: Bolton's Reign!

For those who are unaware, every time that one of my stories end, I do three posts. Those being: the deleted scenes, blooper reel, and cast interview. As always, I'm starting with the deleted scenes.

Compared to the last couple of stories, this might be the shortest deleted scenes post as almost all of the scenes that I wanted in the main story made it in, it was just these three that either didn't fit in whatsoever or just weren't that important.

So without further ado, let's get into this!

S C E N E 1 : Q U I C K T A L K

Chapter 13: No Time To Die

(This first scene was cut because of two reasons: the first being that I had run out of room on that Chapter and the second being that I didn't know where to put this scene, and it didn't really line up well with the tone from the other scenes. In the scene, Melissa and Damian are gathering food to bring to the prisoner in Infantry Forest. Along the way, Damian shares a quick story, literally a quick one)

Coming out of the corner store next to the ruined Inkopolis Cathedral, Melissa and Damian walked to the open gap in the floor down to the sewer. Melissa placed the bag of food down before lifting it using her Telepathy and sending it flying to the other side.

She took one deep breath before running forward and leaping over the ravine. She held out both hands to maintain her balance. She then looked back to Damian, who was on his hands and knees, doing intense push-ups.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm warming myself up."

He answered before standing up and moving onto star jumps.

"That way I can cross this ravine in the blink of an eye."

Melissa rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Damian, it's not that big of a gap! You can just jump over it at normal speed, that's what I-"

W H O O S H ! ! !

Before she could finish speaking, Damian ran to the other side and stood right next to her right. Melissa smiled lightly before turning around and walking down the streets with the Speedster by her side.

"You know, you remind me of my Anadia."

"Oh yeah?"

She asked with interest.

"Yeah! You both want to look out for the little guy, in Anadia's case literally. That and you both manage to put up with me well, although it did take her some time to."

He explained before raising more interest in Melissa.

"How did you two even meet?"

Melissa asked.

The pair of them stopped walking and faced each other.

"I'll tell you, but we'll have to make this quick, well quick to the eyes of others."

He said before grabbing onto both of her arms.

In normal time, they still spoke but each word was sped up and their voices were high-pitched like chipmunks. Within Damian's story, Melissa interrupted a few times to get some points straight. Eventually, the story came to an end.

"W-Wow...I don't know how to respond to that..."

"Yeah, things got a little bit crazy near the end but trust me, we all made it out okay."

He said with an assuring smirk as he patted Melissa's left arm.

"Anyways, where is it you want to take this bag?"

S C E N E 2 : S A V I N G L I V E S

Chapter 18: Beginning Of The End

(This next scene was cut solely because it didn't really fit in with the other scenes and I couldn't find a single place where to place it where it won't halt the tone. In the scene, Ami and Samantha are trying to lead to young Sea Urchin child out of the city, along the way they help a young Octoling man in need. That very Octoling man is my Octosona making a cameo, kinda like what Stan Lee did with the Marvel movies back when he was still with us)

The Stewart Sisters turned the corner to their left and stumbled across a battle-heavy road where the gifted fought R.A.I.C troops. The Sea Urchin child cuddled herself into Ami's chest in fear.

Upon looking around, they saw a young Octoling man with long brown hair running around, their pale blue jacket was on fire.

"Help me! Help me, someone!"

He yelped whilst running around.

"I'll take care of him, hold onto the child, Samantha!"

She said whilst handing the child over to her sister before running forward.

She led the burning Octoling inside the nearest building whilst repeatedly smacking his back to put out the flames. Once inside, the Octoling took off the jacket and began to stamp on it with his foot. Thankfully, the fires had dimmed.

"Thank you so much! I owe you greatly. I think I'll write a story about your heroism!"

He exclaimed whilst rapidly shaking her hand over and over again.

"Thank you! That would be quite the honor!"

She replied. Ami then heard her sister call her name.

"I have to go, I'll see you around!"

The Octoling man waves Ami goodbye as she dashed out of the building's front lobby and out into the battlefield once more.

"I think she's my favorite now!"

The Octoling said with a prideful smile.

S C E N E 3 : W H E R E ' S M A G N U S ?

Chapter 20: The End Of An Era

(This last scene was originally going to be in the final scene that was moved to Chapter 19, in which The Splat Force learned of the slaughter at the Power Plant. That scene was originally going to begin the Chapter (alongside the actual slaughter scene) but got moved back to the previous Chapter due to running out of room. This mini scene was supposed to be the bridge between that scene and the Magnus coming out scene. In the scene, the whole team is gathered together, but Magnus is missing)

Trying to process the news as quickly as possible, Rex lowered the phone and handed it to Peter.

"Get the team together."

He ordered.

"On it, Commander Allen."

Peter responded before disappearing back into the bunker. A minute later, he emerged back out again, followed by Blue and the rest of the Splat Force, or at least most of them.

Rex quickly counted each of them and was left confused. Upon closer inspection, he came to realize who it was that was missing.

"Where's Magnus?"

"He left us to take care of something personal, he'll be back soon."

Samantha added.

Confused and under pressure due to the current situation, Rex scoffed and slapped his knee.

"Where is he going?"

I don't know about you lot but to me, the lack of deleted scenes indicates that I managed to get my full vision for this story out there, which makes me very proud!
