Nejire Hado is a hero at the Squidbeak Splatoon Agency and a very loyal one at that. Having walked the IA school path alongside Mika, Nejire observed first-hand the devotion of her best friend who now holds the number 1 hero rank. It is her own goal to be just like the symbol of peace, a hero who is there for everyone.

Age: 24 years
Quirk: Surge. Allows the to convert their vitality into spiraling blast waves of bright yellow energy with different intensities and sizes. Though quite slowly moving, the waves are really strong hitters even when used on a low power output and can travel long distances. This quirk also allows flight.

As stated in Mika's spotlight, I had already made blogs talking about which quirks certain Splatoon characters could have before writing IA. Agent 4 is mainly depicted as an energy bomb in comics I've seen by, and since that reminded me a lot of the mha character Nejire Hado, I decided to give the quirk Surge to Agent 4. When I got to writing the IA series and made the Hero Agency resembling the Squidbeak Splatoon, I went with that concept, and made the reference clear by her name sharing with the og character. Even though Nejire has low appearance time in the series, I still view her as my take on an Agent 4, earning her a spotlight in this series.
