All For A Seanwich: Part 1 (Writers Lounge Collab)

W E L C O M E ! ! !

This is Nomad! You may be wondering, what is this, and my friend I have the answer to that.

Basically the Writers Lounge has hosted an event, where you and another person team up and write a story together (Basically like a temporary collab).

I'm paired up with KSPTexan, who will be ing the second part of this collab.

With that being said, the show must go on!

A L L F O R A S E A N W I C H

( P A R T 1 )

It was that time once more, Inkopolis City was flooded with nothing but colour and dancing sea criters. Many have gathered around the Plaza, Square, Bay, alongside many other places in Inkopolis. Amongst the crowd was a group of four, three Inklings and one Octoling.

"Zane, I'm just going to say this once, choosing to go on a double date DURING A SPLATFEST is one of the greatest things you have ever done!"

Ami praised her boyfriend, sticking close by him so that she doesn't lose him in the crowd.

"To be honest I wasn't expecting a Splatfest to come so soon, so it being tonight makes it even better!"

He replied to the Pink Haired Girl, he takes her hand and they walk into the crowd and begin to dance.

Tonight was especially a big night for Crusty Sean, as he had many, many, many customers.

"There y go, here are ya two Seanwich, have a wonderful night!"

He said to a green haired customer, the customer walked over to a table where an Octoling with a mohawk was waiting.

"Bon appetit!"

He quipped, placing the tray of Seadwiches down on the table.

"Sorry for the long wait Magnus, thank the cue for that haha"

"Ah at long last, my hero has arrived! Please save me from the hunger!"

Magnus joked softly before taking a massive bite out of his Seadwich. He gulped it down and looked back up at his Boyfriend, who was sitting and staring at him.

"You okay Drift?"

"O-Oh yeah, sorry I was just looking into those eyes!"

Drift answered, starting to blush a little.

"Ah it's okay, you can check me out anytime you want to!"

He said cutly, not knowing how wrong it sounded.

"Uh...Wait nevermind haha!"

Drift giggled, deciding not to alert Magnus about what that sounded like.

Back at the dance floor, both Zane and Ami were dancing away like mad

"I will party till I drop!"

Ami playfully screeched as she started jumping in joy, this was unfortunately cut short when she bumped into someone, knocking them down.

"Hey, What in the carp fish is wrong with you!"

She snapped at her, her eyes were heated with frustration and her teeth were clenched.

"Oh! I'm so, so, so, so, sorry! I didn't mean-"

Ami tried apologising but, you guessed it folks, she got cut off!

"Oh shell no! You ain't going to fool me with this 'Oh look at my puppy eyes, I'm sorry and innocent' bullcarp! You can take your bobble hat and get the shell outta here you wimp!"

She yelled at her, pushing her to the ground. Ami was on the break of tears, she was sniffing.

"Awww you gonna cry...Hahaha, I don't care!"

"Well you can frack off! That's my girlfriend you're talking too!"

Zane yelled, running towards the scene.

"You wanna keep talking mate!"

The inkling yelled, clenching her fists.

"Arata that's enough!"

An Octoling exclaimed, trying to pull her back.

"Oh please Jessica she knocked me over, my Seanwich is ruined!"

Arata tried to back herself up.

Two male Inklings walked towards the scene.

"Alright, how about we calm down and explain what happened?"

One of them asked, pulling up his sleeves.

"Well Ulysses, this idiot knocked me over and ruined my food!"

Arata explained, glaring down at Ami's scared face.

"Oh my Arata, I'm sure it was an accident!"

The other Inkling tried to assure.

Both Drift and Magnus approached the scene, Drift quickly formed a plan.

"Alright, I got a way to settle this, but first I need to know what team you all are on."

"Underwater."

The opposing side answered.

"Great! Me and the rest of us are on Team Space, now how about this, both of us duke it out in a Turf War match!"

Drift suggested, smiling awkwardly.

"Hmph! Fair enough. Just know that I'm not gonna hold back on any of you casuals."

Arata assured, her competitive side getting the better of her. She looked down at Ami.

"Especially you..."

"Where will this match take place?"

Ulysses asked, starting to prepare a plan in his head.

"Ummm...How about the Shellendorf Institute?"

He offered, he knew the ins and outs of that place very well.

"Then it's settled, see you at the match."

Jonah said, as the four of them start to walk away.

"Have you lost your mind?!"

Magnus exclaimed, placing his hands on his head.

"Yeah, what he said! This could make the situation worse Drift!"

Zane said to him, feeling somewhat nervous.

"Well that's only if we lose!"

Drift replied snarkily.

"Well I for one agree with his choice, that piece of fish insulted me, it's about time I get revenge!"

Ami grunted, getting back up. The four of them each looked at each other and nodded.

"It's now or never..."

"Alright, is everyone connected to the pod?"

Magnus asked, making sure that everyone was able to return to the respawn pod when needed, the trio nodded at him.

"Right just checking."

Their hair has turned purple, since that's the required hair for Team Space. The group stand on the pod, waiting for the match to begin, they looked over the institute, the three paths, the side ones and the centre on, all leading to the middle, or the glass roof if you're careful.

R E A D Y . . . G O ! ! !

And just like that, they're off! Both teams charge forward towards each other, each filling up the stage with ink along the way. Little did Zane know that someone was watching him, awaiting a chance to strike.

S P L A T ! ! !

One sneaky shot from Arata managed to splat Zane, he never saw it coming. This splattening caught the attention of Ami, who ran over towards the scene.

"Zane, are you ok-"

She called out but stopped speaking, her heart skipped a beat at the sight of Ulysses staring her down.

"Young Lady, you shouldn't be hear!"

He taunted her, she wasn't very pleased about it and gave him a glare.

"What? I'm just messing with-"

B A N G , B A N G , B A N G ! ! !

Without hesitation, she starts open firing at Ulysses and manages to get several good hits on him, but not enough. He quickly turns into his Squid form and took advantage of his speed. He attempted to trick attack her by coming out of the blue and splatting her but much to his surprise, she managed to dodge the attack.

Ami starts opening firing once more, this time only hitting him once, which knocked his glasses off. The two were seemed to be matched. Ulysses tried firing around her, to make sure that she didn't escape him, not that it bothered her, he was what she was currently after.

Ulysses attempts to change direction and head off, Ami took the chance to go after him. Unfortunately for her, she ended up slipping. Ulysses quickly threw an autobomb at her.

"Almost got you-Woah!"

She yelped, she quickly got into her Squid form and swam away to evade the Autobomb.

The Octoling was hiding from the battle, he seemed to be waiting for something to happen. It was then he heard someone coming, he quickly hid in a dark corner and waited for a surprise attack. It was none other then Jessica, filling in places with her teams Ink. She was quick to realise that something wasn't quite right.

"Alright, whose there? Sh-Show yourself!"

She demanded, little did the Octoling know that someone was waiting for her.

Magnus leaps out from the shadows, roller in hand, ready to strike at her. Unfortunately for him, Jessica manages to push him back with a single shot, knocking him down to the ground.

"Nows my chance!"

She grunted as she raised her weapon, ready to finish him off, but as we all expect, it isn't really the end.

Magnus managed to get back up and strike once more, the ink didn't manage to hit her properly but it almost did. Jessica realized the current situation she was in, she blasted a small pathway for herself and swam away.

"Hey! Where are you goin?"

Magnus called out at her.

"Catch me if you can!"

Jessica said cheekily, swimming away in the Ink. Magnus groaned to himself before blasting his own path and swimming after her.

Magnus was on a wild goose chase, with Jessica obviously being the goose, the ran all across the map, it soon became apparent to Magnus that Jessica's plan was to tire him out, which was actually working surprisingly.

Jessica suddenly dived into her own ink, which was a surprise move for Magnus, since they've spent like half the match just swimming after each other. Jessica quickly emerges besides him and throws a Splat Bomb at him.

B O O M ! ! !

The splat bomb sent him flying back, almost splatting him.

Drift was very occupied with Jonah, at the top of the institute, he was firing non stop at him. Eventually he ran out of ink and quickly dashed to the nearest Ink puddle to refill. Once refilled, he got out and went to shoot at Jonah, but surprise, Jonah had vanished. Drift stayed on guard, looking all around him. Little did the green haired boy know that he was about to get jumped.

Drift suddenly caught a glimpse of Jonah climbing back up to the top.

"Stay back!"

He called out, trying to shoot him with his Splatterscope, but it was no use.

Jonah managed to throw out a fizz bomb to throw him off guard and then gets a good hit on him. Drift fell back, he realized he needed back up.

"To me!"

He called out, trying to get anyone to save him, although he knew that it wasn't use.

"It's useless to call out for help, it's all over now!"

Jonah said menacingly with a smirk, everything seemed great for him until...

B A N G ! ! !

Zane managed to sneak up on him and land a great hit on him, knocking him back down. Jonah managed to get back up and the two of them start duelling at each other. Luckily for Zane, he had company as Drift attempted to push the odds a little more to their favour. However luckily for Jonah, he wasn't alone anymore as Arata managed to attack Drift.

Drift got back up and decided to do something pretty unexpected, he picked up his Splatterscope once more and shot Arata's charger our of her hand. Outraged by this, Arata wasn't really thinking straight and lunged forward to attempt to get the Splatterscope out of Drift's hands, let's just say this was a pretty dumb move on her part because...

B O O M ! ! !

A well timed Splat bomb from Drift managed to not only catch her off guard but also Splat her. This leaves Jonah all by himself, he really tried to fight back but in the end, it wasn't worth it, Drift decided that now was a good time to be cocky, he did a 360° spin and splatted Jonah.

He walked up to Zane and helped him up.

"Cheers mate, you doing okay?"

"Yeah, rough battle huh. Those were some sick skills."

Zane said, complementing his skills.

"Yeah well I was trained by the best."

He replied, referring to someone close to him.

The two of them started to feel strong power, as they have successfully charged up their special.

"Ready?"

Zane asked, it was at this moment that he really started smirking. Drift nodded at him as they activated their specials.

Ulysses was approaching them quickly, ready to strike, Zane leaped into the air and charged his fists.

S L A M ! ! !

He landed a very fatal splash down, knocking Ulysses clean out. Drift noticed Jessica right on Magnus' tail.

"Hey! That's my boyfriend you're messing with!"

He yelled as he fired a sting ray at her, splatting her as well.

"Alright!"

The two boys celebrated as they high five one another.

"Don't get too excited boys, there is only one minute left and they seem to be planning something!"

Ami alerted them, holding her duelling tight.

It wasn't too long later that the battle started again. Jonah and Drift were facing off once more, Drift ran out of Ink once more but this time he did something rather interesting and risky, but mostly stupid. He charged towards Jonah, using his weapon like a blade. Jonah was dumbfounded by what Drift was doing...So he went along with it! The two of them started to duel each other with their weapons like it was a sword battle, a duel of fates if you will.

M E A N W H I L E W I T H Z A N E . . .

His current duel with Arata went from shooting each other to inking up places. Let's just say Arata was getting incredibly annoyed with Zane.

Grrrgh! Why can't you stay still for, ONE MOMENT!

Zane couldn't quite make out what she was saying, nor did he even give a carp. He just ran past her and kept on running, not looking back.

Ulysses has been tiring out Ami by constantly dodge-rolling around. It looked like he finally had the upper hand, well that was until he got hit in the cheek with Ink, it felt really cold. Ulysses looked towards the direction to were the Ink was fired, it was none other then Zane. Ulysses realized that he was now in a 2v1. The odds were not in his favour.

He was too busy filling the stage with Ink, humming City Of Colour. It was then he saw Jessica yet again.

"You know, if you want another round of chicken, you could just ask?"

Jessica is alerted by Magnus' presences and swam away. The two Octolings take part in yet another game of Chicken, this time things end up well for Jessica. She managed to get Magnus cornered. He tried to attack her with his roller, but it was reflected by Splat Bombs.

"Is that all ya got?"

Jessica asked snarkily, ready to attack him. Luckily for Magnus, the odds start looking good for him.

He activated his special, that being Ink armour, the shock wave knocking Jessica down.

Woah what? Fine then!"

She said as she activated her special, the booyah bomb.

She jumped into the air and started charging the bomb, everyone in her team started yelling.

"Booyah!"

"Booyah!"

"Booyah!"

"Booyah!"

Ink was flying everywhere, the sound of the bomb and the constant 'Booyah' made it hard to hear anything.

"It's charged, prepare yourself!"

She yelled, but just as she was about to deal the final blow...
