W E L C O M E ! ! !
This is Nomad, today I'm gonna show ya'll the deleted scenes from Splat Force: The Gifted.
These scenes are still canon to the story but I decided to cut them due to how I wanted the story to go.
I'll give the title of the scene, the chapter it would be from and then I'll explain why I cut it before I show the scene.
Without further ado, let's get into this!

Chapter 4: The Shed
(So this is the first deleted scene, this scene takes place just before Zane met up with Drift at the gates, so it's pretty much his POV. I cut it because the Chapter was mainly through Drift's point of view and I kinda wanted to stick with that.)
The front door opened and an Inkling man stepped through, closing behind, his deep grey hair slit back, he had a small goatee. The man took off his black jacket and hung it up on the walls. He walked into the living room, he was greeted by a rather annoyed Inkling woman.
"You're home earlier then usual, Robert."
She said to him, crossing her arms together, face frowning.
"Selina look, working on Visual Effects is a hard job, I was lucky to even get to go home."
Robert explained, knowing full well that this wasn't going to go his way.
"Robert, please listen to me. We moved over to Inkopolis so that we could have a fresh start and relax, not to overwork ourselves!"
She exclaimed to him, as she explained, their original plan was to hopefully get closer as a family, guess that's not gonna happen.
"Listen to me, this Job is pretty much what is going to keep us here, it's giving us the money to live here, if I just give up then we will either be moving again or we would be living on the streets of Inkopolis. Now I'm pretty sure you don't want any of that to happen now would you?"
He asked her, he held one of his hands in the other, he wasn't standing up straight, it looked like he had been overworking himself, which he was.
"Yes it gives us the money we need, well actually it gives us more then enough, but you are never social. Why do you think I became a nurse? Not only to help people, but to also get us the money we need Rob. Even after telling you about it you just went and got a VFX job, and then we hardly ever see you again!"
Selina exclaimed once more, face palming in disbelief.
"Well yeah, being a VFX artist requires all my time and patience, it's very important to me!"
He striked back, little did he know that those words mentally harmed his Wife.
"Even more important then your family, you're wife who you said that you would protect till the end of time. You're son, someone who you are meant to look after and raise! Come on Rob this is ridiculous!"
Selina snarled, sounding increasingly disgusting.
"Look Zane is closer to you then me so why don't you-"
He said before being cut off.
"What do you mean Zane is closer with me, he hardly knows any of us! The only time he gets with any of us now is the mornings and even then it's only for like 20 minutes! Inking shell Rob, could you act any less selfish!"
She snapped at him, it wasn't easy knowing that her child is not spending enough time with her, or Robert.
What the both of them didn't know was that Zane was lurking outside the living room, listening to almost everything that they were saying. He quietly sighed, he hated all the constant screaming and shouting that came from them whenever they were around each other these days.
Zane put on his shoes and walked out of the house and started to go in a walk, since the toxic environment he was living in was just getting to much for him and he needed to clear his head.

Chapter 7: Cosmo's Approach
(This scene took place just before Frederick encountered Cosmo. It's a flashback scene to when Henry gave Frederick the plans to attack Baxter Village. In the end I removed it because I felt like it didn't really need to be there.)

Young Frederick was sitting in his office, the fan feeding him with its chill, fresh wind. Fred sighed as he looked onto a long A3 paper that read:
'Plan'
Fred read through the plan once more:
Step 1: Set down launch pads if things go wrong,
Step 2: Approach area with stealth and caution,
Step 3: Stay hidden to analyse residents,
Step 4: Jump into action and ask them to surrender,
Step 5a: If they surrender, take them in.
Step 5b: If they attack, we put them down.
Frederick looked at the other man in his office and sighed.
"This is your plan of action...I can't say it won't work. But I also can't say it will guarantee us success. This is our biggest mission yet. We don't want to screw this up. As we have one shot at this. We need something for everyone to do. Obviously me and Commander Rex would take on the big leagues, or the severe/critical threats. The Majors, such as you would would take on the Moderate/Substantial threats. We would need some of the rookies to take part against against the low threats. And yes I know they aren't exactly ready, especially rookie Watson. This plan may need some more details on it, I want you to take this piece of carp and analyse it Major Spence."
Frederick explained handing the other man the 'Plan' paper.
Young Major Henry Spence took the A3 paper and looked at his Commander in the eye.
"Yes Sir!"
He walks out the room.
Frederick got what looked like a cigarette out from his pocket at light up the end and put it on his mouth.
"Damn it..."
He sighs realizing that this up coming 'Mission' could be not only his last. But the last of all these men. The men that he grew on, the men that be trained. These innocent men who probably have spouses to go home to...He puts his hand on his forehead.

Chapter 8: The Big City
(This scene took place when the newly formed trio was leaving Inkopolis and going over to Zane's house via subway. I think in the final cut I just said that Drift and Ami paid for him and simply moved on, mainly because I've felt that I written enough already so I didn't want to add anything else (boy would this come back to haunt me). I've established 2 chapters later that the man he paid wasn't infact Oscar, who is Zane's uncle, so this scene is just like a mini interaction).
The trio walked over to the counter, the man looked up to face them, looking pretty bored.
"Welcome to Inkopolis Subway Station, how may I help you?"
He asked them, holding his head with his hand, sounding pretty done with everything.
Ami and Drift placed down their money on the counter, he nodded at them. He then looked up to see Zane and was quite surprised.
"Oh hello Zane, how are you?"
He asked him, his face lit up and he started to sound more cheery.
"Hey Uncle Oscar, I'm doing great, how about you?"
Zane asked back, he always liked his conversations he had with him.
"Well I'm pretty bored to be honest, I've mainly been stuck here all day, it get's pretty boring. Thankfully Emily is both patient and is able to take care of herself."
He answered, he was basically saying to Zane that counter jobs suck.
"Yeah, she's always been more active Squid, say hi for me!"
He said to him, it wasn't often he got to speak with his uncle so everytime he does have a chance it feels fresh.
"I will do!"
Oscar said with a smile.
"No back to my job, you going to pay or what?"
"Ah about that..."
Zane sighed, scratching his head.
"Oh, I could pay for him if you would like!"
Ami offered, Drift nodding to say that he is with her.
"I don't really take those but I'll let you off this time, please make sure to pay next time!"
He said to them nodding, Ami and Drift walked up to the counter and paid for Zane.

Chapter 17: The Rainmaker
(Probably my shortest deleted scene out of the bunch, as it's just two text boxes. This one is a flashback to the day before the Baxter Village battle, This was to be placed after Drift and Cosmo got the second key and before Frederick encountered Bolton for the last time).

The elevator opened up, Frederick walked out, all geared up. Everyone was stood infront of the stage, their eyes glued to him. He walked onto the stage, looking at all the soldiers.
"Today is the day, we finally go out and stop them! For these past few years, Ink kind has been fearing them, their power is unlike anything this world has ever seen before, we've spent the past year preparing, and now we are ready for battle! If they hurt us, we hurt them back, if we get killed, them atleast we'll all be ed for something! Do not hold back, is that clear!"
He called out on stage, his stage presence was one that demanded attention, he was a sharp speaker and everyone in the room was captivated by him.
"SIR YES SIR!"
The crowd called out, saluting to show their allegiance.

Chapter 18: Doing Alright
(This is my last deleted scene, this is a scene I really wanted to include in the final chapter. Basically this scene is Frederick's funeral. I cut this for mainly one reason, that being because of the 2 month time jump and how I didn't want a small jump to automatically go to a massive one.)
1 W E E K L A T E R . . .
Today was a day for mourning, many have gathered at the graveyard, to pay respect to him, these people were either friends, old work mates and Family. Drift stood away from the crowd, looking out into the sea.
A brown haired Inkling walked over to the boy, in an attempt to give him good company
"Hey kid, you doing good?"
The man asked him, he placed his hand on Drift's shoulder.
Drift turned around and faced him, his face showing little to no emotion.
"What do you think?"
He whispered, not looking the man in his eyes.
"Look, I'm not great with words but I feel your pain..."
He said to him, frowning.
"Your father was more then just a friend to me, he was my brother. I've known him since we were both 4 years old, I helped him get past high school, and he helped me get through university. We always had each others backs, even after the war we still spoke to each other. To my daughter, he was Uncle Frederick."
Drift was fascinated by this man's connection to his father, the man walked back towards the crowd, wiping a small tear.
"W-Wait...Who are you?"
He asked him, however he had the feeling he already knew who he was.
The man turned around to look at Drift, he gave him a comforting smile and winked at him, before becoming one with the crowd.
"Well now what?"
Zane whispered to Ami, not sure what is going to happen now that Frederick is gone.
"I really want to hug him, but like Cosmo said, he wants to be alone..."
Ami said, he hand was shivering.
Zane held her hand, wanting to give her some comfort, it wasn't easy knowing a friend that is feeling nothing but pain and sadness, the both of them wanted to be there, however they knew that they shouldn't.
Cosmo walked up to the front of the crowd and cleared her throat.
"Can if have your attention please! We all know why we are gathered today, Frederick was not only a massive influence, but also a friend. Like everyone, Frederick has faced hard times, losing many in the Gifted wars, losing his faith in Ink kind, losing his wife, Abbie. The one who helped him get through most of the pain was his son, Drift. Frederick wanted the best for him, he gave up his life to make sure Drift would live a normal life, today we are honouring not just a hero, but a good man."
She said, during the speech, some tears escaped her eyes, not that she cared about tears.
Everyone picked up a handful of soil and placed in the grave, after everyone was done, they walked out of the grave yard and traveled to the wake.
