A safe commercial glue/paint with be targeted at children and/or d as non-toxic. Anything that is d for children will for sure be non-toxic because children are prone to putting things in their mouths.

If you are using a hot glue gun, make sure that the glue sticks are non-toxic. If your pet starts to chew the glued area, just remove the glued item to be safe.

If you want to use commercial glue, these are a few brands that are safe (, it must be non-toxic glue):

•Elmer’s Glue

•Eco-Bond

If you’re looking to make a big project for your pets, you may want to look into using Aquarium Sealant. It is non-toxic and suitable for fish.

Saucepan Method for soft fruit/veg
