I use all the typical rules of the challenge with aging up early, for example getting an A in school. For infants I age them up when they have both crawling and pincer grasp milestones, which is usually a day or two before they age up naturally.

All of our skill building is coming along really well! I find toddlers life stage is really short because of how easy it is to get to level 3 of their skills.
