Greetings Sherlockians! I’m Victor

and today I will be bringing you the

third volume of The Empty Hearse.

This is our Sherlock-style comeback

post! We’ve just recruited a bunch of

new , so congrats to them!

We’re all so excited to be back :)

For this one, everyone on our staff

contributed, so it will be a rather long

blog. They won’t all be so lengthy! DW!

Hello hello, it’s Victor bringing you this weeks interview! i am an organizer, interviewer, and the founder of this group :) if you’re interested in it, and maybe want to be an interviewer, we still have some spots open haha. anyways i don’t want this intro to be too long ,, so here’s my interviews ;

Question one

What is your favorite ship? Could be friendship or relationship.

Ah, that’s a hard question!

I do enjoy johnlock, but I also love seeing Mycroft and Sherlock’s sibling bond, and how Mycroft and John react (not necessarily a relationship way, but I like the banter and all)

I’m gonna have to say my favorite is probably johnlock, though! I absolutely adore their teamwork and John’s obliviousness to most things, as well as how in awe he is at Sherlock and his deductions.

Well for friendship it’s definitely Sherlock and Lestrade. but my favourite relationship is probably Johnlock with Mystrade coming up close.

Either as a friendship or relationship, I have always been so fascinated by their strong bond. It always amazed me how much they care for each other without them itting it.

Question two

Could you see them going on a summer vacation?

I can definitely see John planning it and bringing Sherlock along, and Sherlock managing to find SOME sort of case and having fun with that. So yep!

Maybe, if Sherlock wasn’t so annoying toward people, but I’d think they’d take the risk anyway. All three would probably go because they are the most iconic trio ever.

I could definitely see them going on a summer vacation. I can only imagine how much they would get on their nerves while they try to relax.

Question three

What do you think would be their ideal vacation spot?

I’m thinking maybe somewhere like a beach? Somewhere calm and quiet in an attempt to get away from their normal lives, and they can just relax and talk.

Probably somewhere historical, thanks to John, but with some fun, due to Lestrade but somehow it would end up a case, due to Sherlock.

how much i love to think about them just relaxing on a nice beach, knowing sherlock and john they would probably go to some place that has some mystery in it and call it their ‘vacation’ even tho it’ll be basically them working on a case

First up, a johnlock one shot by sceibbles.

“-john. John. John, wake up please, I have a surprise planned for us,” Sherlock whispered into John’s ear, shaking him back and forth slightly. They had been on a beach vacation for the past couple of days now, and John just wanted to sleep the day away with Sherlock, cuddling on the king-sized bed in their hotel room.

“Five more minutes,” John mumbled, reaching his arms up groggily to loop them around Sherlock’s neck, pulling him back into bed. Sherlock, however, wiggled until he was out of John’s grasp before yanking the blanket off of John. John groaned and curled in on himself.

“Sher, what time is it?” John grumbled, cracking his eyes open to look out the window. It was still mostly dark outside. John groaned again and grabbed a pillow, burying his face into it. Sherlock poked at his sides and pressed a few kisses to his bare shoulders.

“What time it is isn’t important John; I set up a surprise for you now please come see it. I promise it’ll be worth it,” Sherlock said, pressing soft kisses along John’s neck. John shooed him away, pushing himself up on the bed, head still adled with sleep. “Thank you John,” Sherlock said softly, pressing one last kiss to the crown of his head.

   “No problem, no problem at all,” John slurred, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. “Now, what do I need for this? Do I need anything at all?” Sherlock milled about the room, grabbing things for John.

“We’re going outside, but it shouldn’t be too cold. I’m giving you a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved shirt to wear, but you can bring a change of clothes for later, just in case it gets too warm for clothes like that,” Sherlock said, handing articles of clothing to his sleepy doctor. “Get dressed please. I’ll be waiting for you outside the room.”

John got dressed as quickly as he could before stumbling out of the room, his hand automatically reaching for Sherlock’s. “Alright Sherl, lead the way please.” Sherlock smiled sweetly at John before leading him out of the hotel and towards the beach. When they reached the shore, John gasped, bringing a hand up to his mouth.

On the sandy beach, there was a blanket sitting a little ways away from the ocean, two plates sitting on it with a picnic basket in the middle. The sun hadn’t risen yet, so there were candles in the sand all around the blanket, casting a beautiful light on their breakfast picnic. John, turning his gaze towards Sherlock, smiled with glassy eyes.

“Sherlock. . . it’s perfect,” John said in awe, giving Sherlock’s hand a few comforting squeezes. Sherlock smiled at John, and after a few seconds, all of the tension he was holding in his body left and he squeezed John’s hand back.

“I thought you would enjoy eating out on the beach and watching the sun rise,” Sherlock explained, cheeks turning slightly pink. “I had to pull some strings with Mycroft, but since it was for you, I really didn’t mind asking him. I’d do anything for you John.” Sherlock smiled before leading John towards the picnic blanket, not noticing the tiny hitch in John’s breathing.

As they sat down on the blanket and Sherlock started unpacking the food, John looked in wonder. He was pulling out steaming containers of hot breakfast food (how had he even been able to keep it hot?). He even opened another part of the basket to pull out a bottle of wine and two wine glasses.

After he set out their breakfast, John scooted closer to Sherlock before resting his head softly on his detectives shoulder, smiling happily to himself. “Sherlock, love, thank you so much for this. It means everything and more to me,” John whispered, and Sherlock’s cheeks turned pink once more.

After pouring out the wine, Sherlock closed his eyes and rested his head on Watson’s. For once, his mind was completely silent, save for thoughts of John. The way his fists clenched when he got angry, his soft, grey hair, his thin lips that turned into a smile when his gaze landed on Sherlock. He slightly heard the crashing of the waves upon the beach, but they weren’t important. His mind was full of John, everything John, and Sherlocks heart squeezed happily.

John nudged Sherlock out of his daydream and, with his free hand, pointed towards the sky. The sun was starting to show along the horizon, and the sky was turning an absolutely beautiful orange color. They sat up, no longer leaning against each other, and Sherlock stared at John in wonder as John looked at the sky in awe.

“Sherlock, this- this whole beach vacation has been a dream to me. I’ve never really had a good vacation as a child. Mum and Harry would fight the whole time, and dad would yell, trying to get them to stop arguing, but all he did was spurr the argument. You’ve shown me how to have a fun time on vacation; how to love on vacation. Thank you,” John said softly.

Sherlock, lacing his fingers together with John’s, smiled and pressed a chaste kiss to John’s cheek. “Thank you, John, for teaching me how to love. Before you came along, I was essentially emotionless. I just solved cases, tried to put up with people calling me ‘freak,’ and altogether didn’t take care of myself. You changed all of that. I could never thank enough for that,” Sherlock whispered.

The two teary eyed men leaned back against each other and turned their gaze towards the sunset, relishing in the soft sound of the waves washing up on the shore. Abruptly, John put down his wine glass, rolled up the cuffs of his jeans, and stood up, reaching a hand towards Sherlock. Sherlock, seeing the glint in his eyes, rolled his cuffs up as well.

He took John’s hand and let John lead him over to the ocean. They waded in slightly, John wrapping his arms around Sherlocks neck. Sherlock, placing his hands on John’s hips, leaned in to press their foreheads together. The boys smiled at each other, lit up by the rising sun.

They didn’t need music. They only needed each other. Enjoying their vacation time together, the men stood in the water together for an hour, dancing slowly together. They whispered to each other, giggling occasionally. Sherlock, at first, didn’t think this vacation was a good idea. But if he got to spend more time with John like this? It was worth everything in the world. Vacations would have to be a must-have every year.

Welcomek to our first “crack the case” segment!!

— Case Tittle: The Invisible Bullet

A farmer was found dead in his bed at his farm. He was wearing his casual clothes and shoes. The house was clean and nothing broken indicating that there wasn’t a fight between the two. There are thin carvings on the wall near the stairs. Upstairs in the bedroom, a broken lamp, blood traces and the farmers was found dead on his bed. He was shot with a 3 bullets in his chest area. All the farm animals are dead as well.

The police confirmed that he was shot. But when the pathologist examined the body there was no bullet. And there was no way that bullet could have extracted because the police was near the area of the farm when the farmers assistance called the police. And bullet whole was straight and there were no signs the bullet was extracted. Why would the murder want to extract the bullet anyway? There were also several broken ribs and internal bleeding.

The farmers name is Henry Shepherd. He was a farmer for most of his life. But there was an incident in his teen years. his fathers was abusive and alcoholic, and his mother being away all day and coming back late at night. He was always lonely. A gang of bullies from school trapped the boy and his best friend and beat them up. The gang was almost completely made of rich spoiled kids. So the young farmer had stolen a gold chain from one of the gang . The next day in school, the gang asked him about the chain. But he said he didn’t know what they were talking about so they left him. That gang chain was given to him by his great great grandmother. It is confirmed by the farmers assistance that he saw a golden chain. But why didn’t the farmer sell it? The assistant didn’t know why.

First up is jim.

overall the drawing was based off of a suggestion by victor (the leader) and it could really just be described as johnlock at the beach, it’s pretty simple and it has a sort of cartoonish style that I don’t normally draw. I used just a simple paper, an inkjoy pen and mechanical pencil for beginning sketches along with a handful of color pencils and it took 30-35 min to sketch, outline etc.

its victor again, and i’d like to thank you for drawing my headcanon haha! it’s just as i imagined.

Will there be a season 5?

That’s the question every Sherlockian has been asking themselves and bbc, but we haven’t gotten an answer yet? The short answer is .. probably. Bbc hasn’t been able to confirm season 5 due to the schedules of both the directors and cast. However , both Mark [gatiss] and Steven [moffat] have shown their interest in a fifth season — Mark even posted a statement on his facebook page; “dr. watson is now doyle’s brave widower, and sherlock holmes has become the wise and humane version of the main run of the stories (we’ve focused, so far, on the cold Holmes of the early days.)”. Of course that’s no official confirmation, the signs point to yes!

What could they possibly be working on?

Mark and Steven have other shows that they write and produce, at the moment they’ve been busy with dracula, so there’s no telling when they’ll be free.

Benedict Cumberbatch has said he wants to play Sherlock again, but then again he’s becoming a very popular actor. He’s had a rise of big roles recently, and has a lot booked for all of 2019.

If my memory serves me right , Martin Freeman hasn’t said he isn’t coming back, but he has expressed his disappointment in the fans reactions to season four. He remarks that it’s hard to live up to expectations, and that it’s not as fun as it once was.
