Hello everyone, this is Greg, the leader of The Weekly Detective [aka the Detective Inspector]! Im very proud to say that this is our first edition! Everyone on the team has put lots of time into this edition, and I would like to thank them for that! Secondly, I'd like to thank my co-leaders for making this all possible! Without you guys I would have never been able to do this! :heart:

Do you think Sherlock holmes ever will fall in love, and how would it change the serie?

"Due the fact that Sherlock is a high functional Sociopath, it seemed like he would never be able to fall in love, considering the antisocial behavior which is typical for him.But if he founds a person who accept him with all his pro & cons and stood with him no matter what...im not quite sure if he could love that person, but he would do anything to protect him/her, because you can show love in so many ways and i think that's his way....so yeah :) i think should he, nevertheless, fall in love with a person, in a sexual way, it depends on the person's personality how it would affect the show, because i think if Sherlock would hook up with another sociopath, John could feel kinda overdue because Sherlock would have another, lets say "more efficent" Partner to talk about crimes. But then i think Sherlock needs John, because John is the human part of him and the most important thing, they are friends! So i think even if Sherlock would fall in love with a "ordinary" person, he would definitley show more emotions...which would changed the serie at the end :) if its positiv or negativ thats up to. "

"Yes.If the one who Sherlock fall for is John,I don't think there would be much change of the series. John would still be his colleague and they would still solve crimes together. But I can imagine Sherlock being annoying just for getting John's attention. If Sherlock fall for other women like Molly,Irene or Janine,I think John's character would be replaced. Molly or Irene might work with Sherlock. If that happens,the series would change a lot. Not Janine because I don't think she would like to do that."

"Yeah I do think that Sherlock Holmes will fall in love because no matter what he says about him being a high functioning sociopath is still a human being. We have already seen that he cares so much about some people like Mrs Hudson, John etc. Well I don't exactly know how will it change the series maybe for a bit worse. Sherlock Holmes pretends to be a high functioning sociopath so that he can shut out all the emotions so he can solve the case in a better way. If you fall in love then I guess his attention will be divided between his cases and the person he love."

Do you think Sherlock Holmes fell in love with Irene Adler?

"Well i don't think he fell in love with her. But she do has his deep respect and recognition, although he would never it that! I think ire her, because she's the only one (except Moriarty) who 's mind is equal with his."

"Maybe... Sherlock doesn't really care about other people's lives,but he saved Irene from death. He also keeps her phone as the original story he keeps her photo. Sherlock doesn't call Irene's name,instead he calls her "The woman". He may not be falling in love with Irene but I think he respects her because she is clever and seductive."

"I do think that maybe Sherlock Holmes fell in love with Irene Adler because he had a bit different towards her. Life according to John Sherlock will outlive got to have the last words but he never replied to Irene adler's text. Also in the and he was the one who saved her. And he also asked you to keep her mobile phone. And in a study in pink we have seen the Sherlock said himself if she left him he would have kept it people do that, sentiment and we've seen that he has done the same."

Do you believe John Watson changed Sherlock, and how?

"I do! John was the reason for him to get away from drugs (most of the time) John also showed him what it means to have friends! He became his consciene and helped him to fit in, to be accepted! Furthermore he humanize him with his blog which made him much more likeable to other People!"

"Yes,I think John changed Sherlock. I think Sherlock knows more of the importance of friends,he cares more. He doesn't agree with Mycroft's "Caring is not an advantage" or stuff anymore. And he's more emotional than the past,although he's still hurting people sometimes."

"I do believe that John Watson in Sherlock in a lot better way. He met him human. Sherlock was convinced that he was a high functioning sociopath and a kind of machine you don't care about anything. He said that alone is all he have alone protects him but in season 4 we have seen that he has sad that "I can't do it not now not alone" John Watson made him realise what a family actually meant. It consists of people who care about you and who you care about."

Do you think Sherlock changed in season 4, and how did he change?

"Season 4 was a lot about family! First he had to watch Mary die, because of (in his view)his actions, which triggerd that he nearly lost John, his best friend! He prepared himself to die, he even started a fight with one of the worlds most powerful man, certain he might get killed, but he took the risk just to get his friend back! When he was on the island locked up with John and Mycroft, he should choose who has to die! It's not like he won't deceide who to kill...he just couldn't because he finally started to feel something! He finally found out what it means to care, really care, about others! He changed himself a lot, because he also learned what it means to forgive. He has forgiven his sister to kill his best and probably only friend. He has forgiven her, that she ruined his childhood and made him who he was today...so yeah i think he changed in a positive way, because a Sociopath can hardly forgive."

"I think he changed a little bit,positively.In season 4,Sherlock ed more about his childhood and his little sister. Eurus killed his best friend,made him cry,burnt down the house,and whatever. Sherlock buried his childhood memories in his mind and even thought Red beard is a dog. I think it's one of the things that make Sherlock into a cold blood sociopath. Knowing these might change Sherlock's personality. As you can see Sherlock was not being mean to Eurus at the end of the final problem,he talked to her gently and softly."

"Well I guess in season 4 he was as close to a human being as we have seen till now. First of all he realise that he can't do everything alone. He realise that he need his friend John Watson. Also he showed feelings towards his sister. After going through every kind of torture, in the end he still cared enough for Eurus to some how make her feel that she is not alone. She brought her close to her family even when everyone has given up every kind of hope. It's showed that Sherlock has some hope inside him somewhere, that he's not willing to give up on the people he love and truly cares about."

Grimmistel's Questions

In your opinion, should Sherlock get more publicity and is it fair for the Scotland Yard to take all the credit?

"In my opinion it's not necessary for Sherlock to get more publicity, the majority of the time he is busy with a case, and his inbox is always full. I think that is not fair (although Sherlock doesn't care and only does it because he likes solving cases). Scotland Yard should the credit of solving the case but, in my opinion, they have to mention Sherlock in the reports (and specify that he is not part of the Scotland Yard team)."

"I think he shouldn't get more publicity cause he doesn't seem to react to well on it. And yes i think it's fair cause the yard does provide the stuff and cops to protect him and they do clean up the mess."

Sherlock became famous for a bit for his genius mind but not many times people heard of Jim Moriarty. As a person with massive intelligence (we'll cross over the fact that he's a serial killer), do you think he should be appreciated too?

"Of course, he is a genius and his intelligence is far beyond anyone. Unfortunately, he used his intelligence to do really awful things. But, if he had used it to do good, I genuinely think the world would be a better place and be considered a legendary person."

"I think john is right cause he's a doctor and is trying to keep Sherlock healthy.

And i dont know i do understand why he does it cause your brain processing 24/7 is annoying"

In the beginning of The Hounds Of Baskerville we see Sherlock and John arguing over Sherlock using cigarettes and throughout the show we see him overdosed once. Do you think John is right when he hides the cigarettes from Sherlock and is using drugs the only possible 'solution' for him?

"I think John is right when he hides the cigarettes, he is Sherlock's best friend, is taking care of him. If we talk about of his drug use in work, I think in some really specific cases, yes (for example: 'The Abominable Bride'). Sherlock said in 'The lying detective' that the drugs open new doors in his mind and allows him to see other things (and those things sometimes are crucial for solving a case). If we talk about his drug addiction (not related to solving cases), I think that is not the only possible 'solution'. He has people around him that love him and could help him."

Sherlock says he isn't a hero and that he just observes the world around him. But do you think he was born with some abilities or did he learn it by himself and was once a 'normal' child? Can we have a real life Sherlock?

"I think that he was born with some abilities, but then it was up to him to exploit them and used them for solving cases and in consequence help others.

On the other hand, I think that if a person is not born with those abilities, they can learn and with a lot of practice be near Sherlock. So I think that is possible to have a real life Sherlock."

"He learned it , like behaviour analysers do they do almost the same as he does with people only he does surroundings too."
