why did so many people vote no? I am shocked!

- The plane would of course be able to take off as the friction is generated through the air which is being pulled through the engines.

The landing gear is non- motorised and serves no function in accellerating the plane forward.

It can't take off because it needs lift, which is created by air moving under the wings.

No it can’t because the plane needs air friction to lift. It will be stationary and not acquire any movement at all.

What a dilemma! Anyway conveyor is matching the take off speed is true but they are also the only moving part. The air should be moving towards the plane to make some wing lift so...its just a good exercise for the plane.
