In the witchcraft community there is always a conflict between spiritualist that claim intention is all you need and witches claiming it is not how spells work
In shifting, which of the two sides are the one that would work the best?
what is intention
Many blogs were made to explain intention, but many still don’t understand it, so what is it really?
Think of intention as the final dot you place at the end of your script, it is the consent you consciously give your energy to proceed in that direction
Intention is how AI works with prompts, and it usually happens in the mental state, in fact, it would be easier for you to picture your brain as an AI and your consciousness as *you* writing the prompt to run the script. It’s the thought behind the action.
it may sound complicated, but it is easy, you constantly use intention. Think of when you go cook, you don’t have thoughts, however you have intention, you are cooking to eat. Think of when you do your homework, you do it with the intention of completing workload to have free time later. That’s intention
Which side is right?
Between both claims, if I’m completely honest, one is groundless and the other is logical. You can’t think that an automated action is enough, for that automation to work, you need the script, the consciousness and the energy to all work together, intention is powerful and definitely an asset in any practice, but again, it is just an automated action, for a prompt to work you also need the Ai to be up to date and the system to be coordinated.
Shifting, like any other practice, needs its own little recipe book. A little routine that consists in subconscious reprogramming, writing your dr, aligning with your dr and finally, meditating or using a method to shift to your dr. Similarly to witchcraft, where you need knowledge of your practice, the materials of your practice, cleansing and protecting, finally, the spellwork
For both, intention will not be enough
Outro
Does that mean that intention is never enough? Wrong, two things can be true at the same time
Intention can be enough in worship, praying for instance only requires two things, your energy and intention. But you need to separate practices that need a recipe from practices that only require energy. Taoism is another of my favourite example, where intention is enough because your body complements it. But when the body can’t complement, that’s when a recipe is needed.
I hope this was useful, feel free to comment your questions or thoughts no matter how dumb they sound to you, some sources below for reference

Some people here is clear were sent to harass me in an attempt to drive me out, unfortunately, that attempt won’t work as I both have the comments history saved and the ability to block. I will say this one last time for anyone who disagrees with my blog: you’re free to disagree, however, if you believe this to be an objective disagreement, provide sources on the same level as mine, with proper connections and analysis for a civil debate, otherwise you’re just arguing with a wall.
To everyone else, do not be intimidated to have different opinions, I understand how this community became a cage, here you are safe🫂

Help HAUSHSHAH thamk u🥀
I’m here to add that what I personally believe is that when intention is enough there usually is something complementing it like energy work or physical work, that is why I said “one is groundless and the other logical”
might have needed extra context
