the hug i need

      i don't think i ever wanted anything special.

       just a "you're doing okay."; a tight and

      warm hug raising me up to help me find my

       footing, one that wouldn't make me feel

       unworthy for being vulnerable, a "your pains

       are valid and ions are irable; just

       keep doing what you want cuz you're loved

       wherever"; ones where "i understand your

       rage but i'm helping you learn better; you

       don't have to feel oppressed cuz we can

       meet halfway"; "its okay to shed tears cuz

       I'll pretend i don't see", and "there isn't pity

       but iration for your courage, cuz you are

       a warrior and i'm just here to watch your

       story", i guess i simply wanted someone

       who would walk with me.

      or atleast,

      cheer me on as i walked alone.
