Being a human being that just so happens to have emotions lol

Also music is hecking great :sunglasses:

Some random yet really specific vibe or image i can't place with words strung together so even i, the poet, can't figure out what my own work means? Absolutely :v:

I tend towards the depressing side :joy:

i write a lot about the bleakness of human experience with undertones of hope underneath all the bad, the thing that inspires my writing the most is people (whether its their struggles or their triumphs, i love hearing about it)

I have good respect for him and his talent, but understanding half of it is completely beyond me :joy: I wish i did appreciate it more to be honest because he is very skillful. The language is nice when you get it-- but it is much better performed than read on its own, personally. Having it drilled into me for exams made me slowly loathe it but when i step back from that, it really isn't half as bad as the exams made them feel.

I love those slam pieces that are about something we need to address in the world. I wouldn’t call them political, but more about important issues worth writing poems about

I love poems about Nature whether it is related to Mother Nature or to the Nature of Human Beings. I also like Freedom related themes whether it is in human rights or a country after/at war.
