The warmer I feel, the less it feels real

Trapped in a world where winter reigns eternal

Frozen in time within the solitude of our torments

Yearning for the breeze's gentle caress

The fluttering kisses of raindrops upon our cheeks

And the tender embrace of what we once called familiar

How many eras have gone by drowning

Within this ice cold sea of despair

Every day just an inch deeper

Every hour another meter into

The depths of these identical illusions

Until we reach the end of another

Dreadful chapter and I notice the hope

Within your outstretched hands

So let us hold on tightly for a

Miracle to come as I preserve the

Precious smile in your eyes

Just like the first breath of air

fighting our sorrow filled lungs

Just like the last drizzle of rain after

The ever disastrous storm

Just like the desperate war cry

Of a thousand year old warrior

It's about time for the sun to shine through

The curtains of our consciousness and

For us to wake up from this never ending nightmare
