Life on the prairie,

Isn't as scary,

As it may seem,

It's more like a dream

Tall grass around,

Without making a sound,

A prairie dog appears,

Away from its peers

Seeing a nice flower,

No longer it cowers,

Away from its hole

To reach its goal

A lovely scent,

Comes from the flower bent,

Life on the prairie,

Sure is merry.
