Mapped of veins,

Injected with gold.

Mayhaps you bleed,

You bleed sunstreams.

Scars engrave you,

Wars, battles led–lost–won.

Gold caresses flesh,

Flesh of wounded, hurt, martyred.

Irregularity of gold on wrists,

Oozing stars from hearts.

Mind trapped in strings,

Pulled–pulled apart.

Dust settles in soil,

Intrigued to the beauty.

Beauty of imperfect lives.

Laying atlast to their destiny.

Ashes scattered of stardust,

Wheels spun, threads burned.

Death churns,

Bleeding gold.
