From Earthling To Alien

             To our distant neighbours,

                               This is a heartfelt letter to thee.

We inhabited for a billion years, on this planet

And wait to live several billions more

For life on Earth is too carefree and short,

Only a fraction of yours.

You have seen billions of sunrise,

Lived since home was made;

Revered ancestor, we are too young,

Too many mistakes we make.

The humans within us, has been divided

To fulfill the new humans made

Chipping and carving has humanity lost

Making us less humane.

This growing concern you know of is

The reason behind your interaction in millenia

The transformation you see is hard to believe,

Raw warriors building to Cold soldiers.

We are in need of dire help —

To extinguish the hellfire in our hearts,

Yet I the Queen of the masses must decline

Your most thoughtful offer so far.

I am the Empress, the Queen of masses,

A leader with true heart

And all I care is a world so fair

Still, I'd reject your genuine offer.

I the Queen, am Earth's representative

But also I am Human, Your Grace

The human heart throbbing within knows best

That only humans can clear human mess.

We're working on it, working to clear

The despicable ruins of this race

And rebuild palaces out of stone and dirt

To restore the Earth's sacredness.

Another millennia, this cleaning shall take,

We the Initiators will be unable to witness

The joyous changes brought upon humanity

After millions of efforts.

I the Empress, assure thee,

We will stitch back tattered humanity;

The result this current existence won't see,

Yet the eyes of the bloodline shall.

I end my letter acknowledging thee,

Ending with a fantasy in mind

To erase memories in my inquisitive subjects

Of Your Majesty and your alien tribe.

From this moment onward we are strangers,

Unbounded by neither fate nor life

And we shall forever consider aliens

As the prime scientific fantasy.
