like two stars that had given up

their galaxies for being unable to

touch each other, we hold on

to that moment of touch base

when we hopelessly fall

for each other

and like splitting comets,

we were only meant to be for

the millisecond our eyes meet

and slowly fade away before

we could memorize our names

this is our destiny

scripted by the universe

for you and me

engraved into the earth

spread across the ocean

in craters meant to bear hearts

we were a nameless miracle

a meteor shower

that leaves in it's infinite trail

a stardust coated love

a gift from the heavens above
