A BAD MR REMOVED: THE STORY EVERYONE BELIEVED

This blog mostly just focuses on twice, especially Jihyo. But let's talk about the "Mr. Removed" first. If y'all are wondering what it means it means a person that, removes the autotune and make it look like the idols are bad singers (don't come at me please). But not gonna lie, even if the autotune was removed, Twice are still good at singing :triumph: :raised_hands: 🏻 :heartbeat: we stan legends :fist: 🏻 Now time for the part where Jihyo was criticized. Like I said the blog focuses on Twice especially Jihyo. Jihyo received a lot of criticism before, everyone called her fat, not pretty, needs to lose weight and other stuff that made her hurt her feelings, a lot of people also thought that Jihyo was a bad singer because of the autotune removal, even though she is a really good singer. Many people only attacked is because of her looks, and a lot of people didn't even focus on her talent. Discussion - Nayeon Bullying Dahyun & My Opinion

Y'all :triumph: making up fake accusations or taking photos as 'proof' ain't cool. If I'm being honest I think people only do accusations to gain attention or make someone feel bad about themselves and trust me, that's not even good at. all. If you want to get attention go find someone. Can't friends sometimes joke around? Like come on I'm sure some of us hits our friends but don't take it the other way around and make it look like they're the victims or something.

#40 - Are they really that important?

Does views really matter? Does getting a song to 400M views in an hour or even 24 hours that important? Well for me,(don't come at me please) I think its not really necessary. I mean, I understand that when our favorite idols release a new song we want to show our and stream it to the highest views possible. But as long as you your idols and you're there for them do you think that it all still matters? It's nothing really special to me, I know tagt some MVs are low in views but you can listen to it on your own time and enjoy the music

Kpop, can be sometimes triggering to us fans, with all the comebacks, outfits etc. and yes, sometimes fans could go overboard about their idols. Thinking that they shouldn't date because [idol] is my bias, even posting threats that can go viral easily online. I know that you love yours idols so much but, before you post, did you think about how that idols mentality or feelings could get affected? Sometimes even in fansigns some fans would just go to the idols and threaten them. Some even put up a secret camera to record them or take pictures of inappropriate parts. Just saying that, let our idols live. You can't just play with them and hurt their feelings.

This is Chloe! We have many amazing edits from our once and I would like to share some of my favorites among this week.

Firstly, I would like to say this edit is the best edit for this week in my opinion. Secondly, I would like to appreciate the colour scheme of that tzuyu edit. I really like edits with vibrate colors. The colors are the most eye-catching part for me. I also like the placement for the pngs. They're very neat. I also like how you dissect the colors of png into orange>grey>orange for the pngs. The text in the edit is also amazing. I really appreciate how you put 2 different colors on one word. Overall, the colors in the edit is the feature of the edit. Keep it up!

Those 3 edits are lit!! Among all 3 edits, I like Sana's one the most. I really like some edits with simple backgrounds. It's really simple but you made it beautifully. I like the colour-changing for the texts the most for the Sana edit. For Momo's one, I like the placement of the overlays. I really the 'clock' overlay. It's suits the theme of the edit. For the Dahyun one, I like the black dots in the red shade the most. It makes the edit more beautiful. Each edit have their uniqueness. Nice edits! Keep it up!

First of all, I really like how you edit the text 'Special'. I love the colour-changing of the text the most among all the features in the edit. Besides, the placement of Nayeon's png is impressive. If I am the one who made this edit, I will place the pngs in a very messy way. But I need to appreciate how you place the pngs neatly. Also, I also like the textures of the edit. It's smooth and amazing. For the overlays, I like the stars overlays the most. It stood out a lot. I really love this edit. Please make more similar edits in the future!

We all like to look through some spicy unpopular opinions, don’t we? We like to watch people sipping and then spilling the tea. Well, this blog is all about that. The mysterious member called tea, have brought us some captivating and uncommon thoughts on our Twice. Overall, it’s a really nice blog. The language is impeccable and strong, there isn’t a tiniest mistake and the wording does not lack in anything. I don’t know if you’ve realized, but it’s pretty rare to find a blog that has a faultless language and grammar on here, that’s why I cherish blogs that actually do. Tea made an excellent job in this indicator as well as in others. They have backed up their opinions quite well, they have properly explained their ideas and linked it to the points. Unlike many authors of blogs with unpopular opinions concept, Tea is not throwing shade on anyone nor anything. I find it really pleasant, because having respect is tremendously important in presenting your (especially uncommon) thoughts. The structure of Tea’s blog is great too – everything is clear, and the format is clean, so it’s really enjoyable to read. Make sure to check it out!

Next in line we have something more serious; namely, a discussion about something as grievous as twice bullying themselves. While for many, as well as for me, it might sound ridiculous, but there is a rumor about Nayeon bullying Dahyun. The author of the blog decided to analyze it more thoughtfully. They have presented all of the “proofs” of Nayeon bullying Dahyun with a brief explanation and their thoughts on it. It’s a pretty short blog, but it talks about an important subject, so I think it is important to bring it in. We don’t know what is happening behind the curtains, we get to see only a diminutive slip of Twice’s life, so we have no clue how their relationship looks in reality. However, spreading overexaggerating rumors that are completely made up is just disrespectful. Niya did an excellent job in debunking these repelling gossips by writing a great blog. She has used proper (a bit basic) language that is easily understandable and there are no errors whatsoever. The structure might be a little messy, but it is still clean. Maybe next time it would be good if they used some edited text dividers. However, it’s not necessary and the blog is good as it is. Please take your time to read it!

❝ Did It Go Wrong?¸❞

This is a discussion blog about the Feel Special comeback. It has four parts which are: 1) Youtube, 2) Population, 3) Concept and 4) Closing. While it’s all beautifully written (which I actually enjoy reading), I don’t really think it makes much of a sense. The blog does not lead to any point nor conclusion. It is not even clear what the author wants to convey in it. I’m not saying it’s bad or poorly made. It’s just that I am missing out the most important key of it – the meaning. I love that the author did not use colloquial language and had exquisite word choice, but I feel like they don’t even know what they are writing about. The author says that Feel Special album had a slower reception comparing to past albums. While the other parts might be debatable and there is no fixed answer, we can clearly see that Feel Special had way better following than previous comebacks. First of all, the sales were huge and the trending on twitter unmeasurable. It was way better than what we have achieved earlier on. Second of all, our fanbase got a lot bigger. I have seen thousands of people saying that they ended up stanning Twice after Feel Special comeback. How are they disappointed, confused or blindsided? New fans not liking the concept? It’s more like old stans are disliking it more than the recent ones. Please don’t spread some unnecessary thoughts. I get that we, as a fandom, might be a bit biased and sometimes even delusional about the success of Twice’s comebacks, but Feel Special was undeniably auspicious era.

Hey, Aaron here welcoming you back to the fanfic section of this week’s newspaper. We’ve got some good entries this week and I don’t wanna waste your time any longer, so let’s get into it.

The falling Sun (Team Twice chapter 8)

Today’s first entry is by none other than Kat, who has constructed an excellent fanfic. If you haven’t read the first seven chapters, I highly recommend you do so, but you can always jump straight into this chapter. I personally have to commend you for how intriguing the storyline is, especially with the character of Joohyun. I wish we could see more of her, so maybe in the next chapter. I think you could also add a bit of context at the very beginning to just summarise the previous chapter, maybe one sentence or slightly more, since the previous chapter was made over 2 months ago. The Falling Sun sounds quite futuristic and certainly worth going deeper into next time. In addition, the emotive language helped me connect with the story and quickly become attached to it. The use of images also shows what each character looks like in the scene, so props for that. Overall, it’s beautifully written and I hope to see the next chapter. Good job, Kat.

Bus ride (Dahmo) part 1

Next up is a nice and short fanfic based on Dahmo, although keep in mind that it’s only the first part. I find it quite nice that their interaction was quite sweet, especially with the instant connection and feelings. However, the paragraphs are quite chunky and could be separated into shorter paragraphs, otherwise it can be a bit of a trek to read. At the same time, there should be more plot developed in the next chapter, maybe to establish some conflict. Still, there’s a lot of room for development, but a solid start nonetheless.

Once Upon A Dream

Our next fanfic comes from Nani, and is a ChaeNa fanfic meant to be the first episode of the first season, so I’m expecting a lot in the future. This fanfic establishes all the characters, but is unfortunately quite short and I wish there could’ve been more. Especially since it’s a ChaeNa fanfic, there should be more interactions between Chaeyoung and Nayeon. However, it’s still pretty cute what interactions there were. Can’t wait to read more, maybe longer fanfics. Keep up the good work.

This next fanfic is a oneshot from Daisy, and it’s a oneshot about Mina. The use of artworks makes the writing come to life from Mina’s POV, and the use of first person really establishes a deeper connection between Mina and us as the readers. The guy interacting with Mina is also quite mysterious, since we don’t get to find out a lot about him, making it even more interesting. It just leaves me asking more questions about what his purpose is. After analysing it carefully, I can only conclude that the guy represents the reader actually being in the story with Mina, which I find to be quite a touching addition. Such a great fanfic, and I wanna read more from you now.

We have 3 kingdoms, representing 3mix, J-line and School Meal Club. The conflict is already established, and I’m already asking questions, so I honestly can’t wait to read into it soon. Question #1: What would you do if a rude fanboy insulted Twice publicly, and you were there?

Alyssa :newspaper:

"I would just throw compliments at Twice so that they don't listen to him! Drown out the haters, amirite?"

Maria :newspaper:

"I would have calmly told him to think about himself, that he should consider that his words can actually hurt and that it was unacceptable. I would also ask him to imagine what he would feel like if he was the one receiving the insult. And if Twice were there and heard it, I would tell them it's not true and that they are loved. I would probably also say that insulting someone else makes him look immature."

Toli :newspaper:

"I would ignore it and mind my own business. Because let's be honest, you can't convince them that being rude is wrong and disgusting. I won't use my energy for such people."

Question #2: Do you believe Twice have improved, or do you think they have just showed their potential? (For example, you don't think they improved, but you think they are showcasing something that they could've always done).

"I believe it's both! From Sixteen, we know that they CAN pull off a variety of concepts, but their skills had room for improvement. Slowly but surely, Twice has improved in their vocal, dance and rap ability, and each comeback is met with more stable vocals and dancing! Concept wise, I think Twice is showing that they have the potential to do more than just cute concepts, which is great as well!"

Maria :newspaper:

"I think it's a little bit of both actually. I think Twice has definitely improved vocally, we do know that they have taken more vocal lessons and it's clear that they have better technique now. But I also think they lost so much confidence in their vocals after the Cheer Up backlash that a lot of their potential was hidden for a long time. Dance wise I think they've improved and become more in sync with eachother over the years, but again I think a lot of their potential was also unused for years as there are predebut videoes of non- dance line dancing amazingly well. Their stage presence has always been good, but I think it has improved and especially Tzuyu is starting to really have a lot of confidence and presence on stage these days."

"Well since Yes or Yes JYPE tried a new style/concept for TWICE and an approach to an more mature one. I like both sides of TWICE bit i actually didn't like Yes or Yes but since then every CB was an improvement in that new fancy/mature concept and I think they are getting there. So yes they are improving with every CB (especially the dancing)."

Question #3: Who would you like Twice to do a collaboration with? Why?

"Twice should do an official collaboration with Oh My Girl! We all know that Twice are big fans of them, so it'll be amazing to see them do a song together! It'll be a great experience for Twice, and will help Oh My Girl get more recognition, since both are such talented groups!"

Maria :newspaper:

"Ooh, hard one. I'm a JYP family softie, so I would definitely like to see them collab with Stray Kids again or maybe Day6 again. But I think a Sixteen reunion would be the sweetest thing, so I'd love to see a collab between fromis_9, Itzy, Somi, IZ*ONE and Twice, either all of them or just some from each group. But imagine, Jiwon, Chaeyeon, Chaeryeoung, Somi and Twice on one stage again, I just think it would be so heartwarming."

"Since TWICE is already a big group I would like to see them with a soloist. The soloist needs to have an impact tho. So I would love to see either IU for her unique style and matching voice to the group. Or Zico for his ability to pull of every style but still have his uniqueness. (Also a more Hip-hop style would be interesting)."

Question #4: Do you think Twice are heading in a good direction? (For example, Fancy and Feel Special have more mature concepts. Do you think they could continue to pull it off amazingly?)

"I think Twice has had a great transition from their usual cutesy image to a more mature one, starting from Yes or Yes all the way to Feel Special. And they're pulling it all off amazingly! It's definitely something Onces would have to get used to, especially if they were more into cute concepts, but I can see that their shift in concept has attracted new fans, including some of my friends from school! So I think Twice are set for a new stage in their career, and I'm sure they will do an amazing job~"

Maria :newspaper:

"I actually do think they are headed in a good direction. Having been a Once since predebut, it has always been annoying to hear that "Twice can only do cute" or "Twice can only do easy choreography", when we knew as fans that they could and had done different things predebut. And when Twice originally came put the sound and concept was far less cutesy then what it became during and after Cheer Up, The Story Begins was praised by most kmedia for not being either cute or girl crush, but rather somewhere in between, but along the way, that in between concept disappeared. I think now is the time for them to branch out and try new things as their fanbase is stable and they are cemented as one of the biggest kpop girl groups in history. Twice have always stated that they wanted to show more sides and as such they should be allowed to. In my opinion, following Twice is like growing up with them. Now they are becoming women rather than young adults and teenagers, and as such a more mature concept is good for them. Also there are that clearly thrive with more mature concepts like Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Momo and Chaeyoung. I hope they can be a group that I hope they can be a group that can come back with lots of different concepts, maybe even do another cute one, but be a group that is known to be able to fit any concept."
