"Miss Chou, Chairman Chou would like to have a meeting with you at the La Mansion De Rose in 5 hours from now. I had your luggage done, the private plane will arrive at 9 am. So I'll excuse myself now for you to fix yourself.", the maid said then left my room.

I felt a sudden ache from my head as I slowly stood up from my bed. I wanted to complain but I know it'll only be pointless when it comes to the Chairman.

I had to fix myself immediately from the fear of getting killed by my grandfather, he doesn't like late comers. I am used to this by now, the chairman calling us for a meeting, but today wasn't good.

I can barely feel my knuckles after being dragged into countless physical fights by those crazy agents that I just worked with last night at the hostess bar. They're too noisy, especially that bunny girl from Korea.

I just hope that I won't bump into her when I arrive in Korea later.

2 and a half hours ed and we finally landed in Korea. I've been here countless times for our missions, it may look like a perfect country but here lies the gold chairs of crazy billionaires.

Billionaires that have high positions and authorities ruling over their innocent people.

I can already tell that this will be a big mission just by the atmosphere that I felt after I took a step inside the La Mansion De Rose.

This is a mansion exclusively for of the family. I haven't stayed here since I was a child, though I regularly come here when the chairman calls us for missions.

I'd rather stay at a hotel than be with everyone in there, almost all of the of the family are drowned with golds and money but at the same time, they are skilled and knowledgeable enough to kill 3 heads with or without a weapon.

"So what's up?", I asked immediately after entering the conference room.

"Why won't you give respect to me first, brat?", chairman asked while sitting at his swivel chair at the very end of the long table and staring at me with his sharp eyes.

"Whatever. You know I don't like those things right Chairman?", I said, emphasizing the word 'chairman'.

"Enough you two. We're here for the mission. Tzuyu, you're the only one we are waiting anyway.", my brother said.

I just noticed him after he spoke. I never thought that he would us since he is business-minded and rarely appears in meetings in person so I wonder why he came here. He is so lucky that he can easily turn down a chairman's meeting while I have to deal with that old man's attitude.

After 3 hours of discussion, half of that is actually me and the chairman arguing. Well, it wasn't new since that man is really testing my patience.

He does have a sharp tongue and I won't hesitate to sharpen myself as well for him. He really needs attention, he might die from loneliness and that'll be embarrassing when he arrives in hell.

Anyway, my prediction was right. The mission I received was a 5-star difficulty, which means this is one of the most difficult missions and it is important to have a team that I have no authority to choose.

I don't know the reason why this old man gave me this, was he impressed with my skills or he just wanted me to suffer? Either way, I know I got this. I have encountered countless beasts in my entire life and this will only take sweat.

Since, this will be a major mission. I was immediately transferred at an international school here in South Korea. Although, I still don't like the idea of going to school.

I mean, what's the point if I have a better knowledge than a thousand pages book? I'm not bragging. Really.

I arrived at the school early since my brother insisted on driving me to school. I didn't argue with him anymore, I know he's tired too.

I went straight to the heaster's office and after minutes, I was accompanied by the president of the class that I belong to and then not too long, we arrived at our classroom.

I stood at the front following the homeroom teacher, she nodded at me and told me to introduce myself. Hayst, Why can't she just do it herself?

"Goodmorning, my name is Chou Tzuyu, I am from Taiwan. Please take care of me.", I said then bowed.

I sat at the only vacant seat beside the window and a girl. I just fixed my stuff and tried to listen to the teacher. She was just explaining the project which will be working on with a partner.

"...and for Ms. Chou. Anyone wants to partner up with Ms. Chou?"

The silence didn't last long when the girl beside me shouted.

"Me!", she looked at me with a smile that reached her eyes.

She held out her hand in front of me. She honestly looks cute and innocent even though I don't like Japanese Shiba Inu. How did I know? It's kinda obvious though.

"I'm Minatozaki Sana. I hope we will be friends!", she said. I can't help but to stare at her features.

She kept on talking and I can't help but to stare at her features. Her eyes, her neck, her jawline and even those lips of hers.

I was pulled from my reverie when she waved her hand at my face.

"Are you okay, Tzuyu? Am I bothering you too much?", she said.

I just shook my head before fixing my things since school is over. All I did the whole class period was to stare at nowhere, actually.

"Your place tonight?", I asked.

"Uhm...W-what do you mean?", she said and seemed to be embarrassed.

"The project.", I answered.

"Oh r-right! Actually, I can't tonight. Is tomorrow alright for you?", she asked while following me at the hallway.

"It's okay. I will buy our materials today then.", I patted her head before leaving her.

After an hour, I didn't catch any suspicious person there so I gathered my things and went back to the parking lot.

I was just fixing my helmet when I felt someone watching me. I continued on what I am doing to see what will be the next move of that person hiding in the dark.

After a minute, I started to drive my motorbike and went to the mall instead of the mansion. I was carefully watching out for that person while acting normally. I tried hard to predict his or her intention but I am definitely sure that that person is up for me.

My palms are getting wet as I picked books inside a bookstore. I don't know why I feel this  even though this is not new to me and I always easily get out of their sight.

My feet are stuck on the floor as I felt someone walking at my back and then someone suddenly grabbed me by my shoulders.

"Tzuyu! I didn't know we would get to meet again here in Korea."

I looked at who appeared. It was Nayeon, a high ranked agent at our agency. Is she the one following me earlier?

No, it couldn't be. The aura earlier was sharp and so powerful that I didn't get to predict its move.

"Yeah, I didn't know too and I don't want to.", I said then went to pay for the books.

"That uniform looks good on you, detective.", she whispered at my ears.

"Why are you following me?", I looked straight into her eyes.

"I just noticed you a while ago. I just didn't know that it's really you.", she chuckles.

She seems to be telling the truth. Why would I even suspect her even if we are a team? Right. The enemy is just near and I have to be careful.

Weeks later and there's not much anything interesting other than the reported murders from different casinos. Almost all of the reported victims are billionaires.

There were some senior detectives now investigating inside the places and there wasn't much information gathered by the team.

I am currently at a cafe with Sana, we just finished our project. It was easy for me though Sana didn't understand some parts with our project so I have to slow down for her.

She is now answering some of the questions I gave her. She did ask me to tutor her and I didn't think that I would accept it.

There's something in her that I can't resist. She always gives me that pleading eyes as if I stole a candy from her.

Suddenly, my phone vibrates from my pocket. I looked up to see who was calling and it's only Nayeon.

For the past weeks, Nayeon always clings to me and ask me to have a girl date with her. She even tried to blackmail me so I won't refuse with her silly acts.

I answered the phone with a sigh and as I thought, she wants us to have a date again.

"Please, Tzuyu. I need you to date me! Just this one!", she said and her voice was so loud that Sana switched her sight to me.

"You're too loud. I told you, I don't want a date with you anymore. You keep on dragging me everywhere!", I hissed.

"Oops--Jeongyeon is here now. Please Tzuyuuuu!"

"I'm with Sana.", I said, trying to suppress my laughter.

"N-No, it's fine with me if you have a d-date with her.", she said and seems to panic while fixing her things.

"Stay there.", I said coldly at her and gave her a sharp look. A 'you-sit-there- look.

She finally gets back to her seat so I got back talking to Nayeon.

"Oh I see. You already have a date...", Nayeon said weakly.

"It's not a date. You're so annoying!", I hissed and ended the call.

I looked at Sana who was now uncomfortable sitting at the chair. She looks so cute and innocent with that baby pink dress.

I chuckled softly while looking at her fidgeting with her coffee mug.

"W-why are you laughing?", she glared at me. It made me want to pinch her cheeks.

"I am not.", I threw my sight away from her.

After a few minutes there, Sana had to receive a call so she went outside. I only fixed the mess, all of those crumbled papers are all over the floor.

I was busy picking up the trash when I suddenly saw an earring. This must be Sana's, it was color pink but it seemed like there was something stuck inside of it. Before I can even look closer to it, Sana already snatched it away from me.

"T-that's mine!", she said.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, I just saw it right here.", I just said. My forehead furrowed with her sudden action.

"Let's go now, shall we?", she said then her smile came back from her lips.

Three months have ed and the mission is slowly revealing itself. It wasn't just a serial killer we are dealing with. The serial killer is having fun being a mastermind and he or she already knows that there are people who are looking for the criminal.

Anyway, I am at an amusement park with Elkie. Elkie is my childhood friend and we've been through a lot. She already knows my secrets and I trust her very much.

She's like a sister to me ever since we were little but when she moved here in South Korea to be an idol trainee. I didn't know why she suddenly wanted to be an idol, she never really talked about it in the past.

"I'm happy to be with you again, Tzuyu. I've missed you so much.", she said and held my hand.

"Me too. I've been busy lately that's why I forgot to visit you.", I gave her a cotton candy that I just bought.

We sat at a nearby bench and talked about some things. I still don't get Elkie sometimes though. It seems like she is hiding something. I didn't notice it when I was a child, I trusted her very much but now it is different.

She suddenly held my hand and dragged me. We stopped at an empty park there and she looked at me in the eyes.

My forehead furrowed as she looked around to see if someone was there.

"I know that I had ignored you before I went to Korea and I'm sorry..", she said.

"I-it's okay, Elkie. You don't need to apologize to me. I know you have been busy.", I said.

"No, that wasn't the reason.", she held my hand tight.

"What is it?"

"I'm in love with you, Tzuyu.", she weakly said and that made me step back.

There was a silence between us. The awkwardness that I felt was erased when I felt presence in the dark while watching us.

"I know that you only see me as a sister but I just wanted you to know what I am feeling towards you. I love you,Tzuyu. L-let's just try...", Elkie said.

I just stood there with mixed emotions from Elkie and the presence. Is that why she left? Because she loves me more than a friend and I didn't even notice it.

I wanted to hug her right now but I'm too scared that she might mistook my actions.

"I-I can't, Elkie.", my sight fell at her eyes with tears.

"Do you like someone else?", she tried to catch my eyes but I still couldn't meet her eyes. I just stood there quietly.

"I should've confessed to you sooner.", she wiped the tears at her cheeks. She looked around as if she knew that someone was watching us and leaned closer to me and lowered her voice.

"Be careful, though. Masks aren't the only one who can hide one's identity. Aren't you still curious about my identity? I didn't know that it would take you years to find that out. Being an idol was not my ion, being an idol will be my mask soon.", she smirked at me.

The night ended with a fireworks display. We just stood there without a further conversation. The presence I felt was already gone so I heaved a sigh in relief.

Before we can even part ways, there was something she said that once again left me speechless.

"Your enemy is closer than you think."

What did she mean by that? How much more did she know? Thousands of questions are flooding my mind that I couldn't even think right anymore.

As soon as I stepped inside the chairman's office, he greeted me with a stern look in his face so I didn't hesitate to meet his eyes.

"What?", I said in a cold manner.

"Here.", he threw an envelope.

I caught it before it landed at my feet. I  immediately opened it and there was a long silence before I looked back at him.

"Be careful. You'll be at that organization's territory.", he said with a sudden worry in his eyes.

These past few weeks, we found out that the murders and deaths were from inside an illegal gambling organization. Whereas, if a member lists a name to their black list. They can be either kidnap and torture or they can be murdered on the spot.

All of the are billionaires and some of them even have positions in the government. The more money you invest, the more chances of being safe inside the organization. The person who invests the most will be guaranteed safe and that person is our main target. He is the one who built the organization and the only person who can undo names to the list.

"I will. I have a team anyway.", I said.

"Tzuyu, is something bothering you?", Sana asked me. We are currently at the school's garden since our class is cancelled for the preparation of the prom though I won't be ing since the date is the same as the night of our mission.

I looked at her. She looked worried so I patted her head. She pouted her lips from my sudden move. She really looks like a kid.

"I'm fine, Sana. Why aren't you preparing for the prom?", I closed the book that I was reading.

"I won't since you won't.", she said.

I just tsk'ed and glared at her.

"I'm just kidding! Hmm just something...", she said then gets back on answering another set of questions that I gave her.

"Tzuyu, who is Elkie?", she suddenly asked.

I turned my head at her. I didn't tell her anything about Elkie.

"How did you know her?", I answered her with a question.

A smirk crept escaped her lips but that didn't stay long.

"Sleep talk? You mentioned her while sleeping.", she said.

It must be when I sleep in class. I didn't know that I sleep talk. That's embarrassing and the fact that I even mentioned Elkie.

"Maeumsogeuroneun da algo itjanha gyeolgugeneun seoneul neomge doel georaneun geol~", she hummed. I just shrugged my shoulders. (Trans: In my heart I already know. Sooner or later I’ll step over the line)

The night  has come and all of the team are wearing masks. Shining jewelries are placed all over our outfit.

Ofcourse, Nayeon has the sexiest outfit, her red long tight dress with a slit at the back and at her leg part.

"Are you sure about that, Ms. Agent?", I sarcastically said.

I just want to make sure that she re that we are for the mission.

"It's okay, Ms. Detective. if I die later, I'll die beautifully.", she said then flipped her hair. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Signal us immediately if you need backup. Be careful inside.", Jeongyeon said.

We finally stopped in front of a hotel. I fixes the angle of my mask and stepped out of the car after Nayeon.

We were welcomed by loud music and a wild crowd, it was just starting but the smell of alcohol lingers all over the place.

As soon as we sat in the dark corner of the venue with the team, the loud music stopped and the crowd went back to their seat.

"The crowd is so wild tonight! We are only getting started because we will get you more hyped up. Let's start the night with bidding!", a loud voice at the stage echoed and then three girls appeared at the stage.

"First one is this maiden here! Let the bidding start!"

I looked at Nayeon who is now controlling her laughter because of my reaction.

"Why would they bid for a girl? What the f is that?", I complained.

"$100,000!"

"$500,000!"

"$2,000,000!", a loud voice from beside our table shouted and that ended the first bidding.

"Two million dollars it is! Grab it now!", the voice said and the audience became wilder.

I slapped my forehead in disbelief. I leaned back in my chair while still listening to what the host was saying.

1 hour had ed and then finally the host announced the arrival of the mastermind. it's time

"Tonight is the night we've all been waiting for. Let me introduce you all to our great founder!"

Suddenly, the spotlight went to a tall man who came out of a limousine. Just like all of us, he is wearing a mask in his face, though a scar in his face is still visible.

Soon after him, a lady came out of the limousine. Her aura was stronger than the man but it looks like she is still young. It can't be his wife.

The footsteps of them echoed all over the hall. The crowd that was wild just a few minutes ago was silenced.

We all don't know what they can do more now that they are revealed to the whole organization.

"Welcome everyone. It was my pleasure to have you all here. Tonight is the night we celebrate the success of our organization. The 10th year anniversary is very special to all of us founders, and our guests for tonight. It feels good to see you all in person and I would like to make this the most memorable of all because this will be my last day of being a president of this organization.", the hall was filled with whispers and complaints from the .

"I introduce you to the heir of the throne. My daughter and the soul of my wife. The main reason why this organization was created. Let her fill the gaps in our organization. Honey, it's your time.", he said and ed the microphone to her.

It felt like the whole hall was getting tighter, even us who are just a guest here are watching very carefully.

"Welcome to Luna Organization--"

"Get down! You are just a woman!", a man interrupted but before he could even add his words, the new president already shot him with a gun before we even noticed, a head shot. She's fast and has no mercy. How can a woman be like that?

"As I was saying, the organization will be officially named Luna Organization, call me Empress. Anyone who tries to complain or even interrupt me will no longer see the sun tomorrow.", she said slowly, emphasizing every word.

I tried to take a clearer view of her. Her voice sounds so familiar, I just can't whose voice it was.

After that short introduction, they sat on the throne at the very stage which we didn't notice earlier. I was only staring at the woman who was now looking at the face of every member there.

The bidding continues for the second round. The next item was a dress. Just by the look of it, it wasn't just an ordinary dress.

"Queen Elizabeth's royal wedding dress, everyone! Right in front of your eyes! Let the bidding begin", the host said.

"1 million dollars!"

"2 million dollars!

"5 million dollars!"

The bidding continued and the prices went higher and higher. Everyone seems to want the royal dress even if it is stolen. How did they even steal that?

I looked at Nayeon again and then she nodded. They were too busy now, so we got up to our seat and went to our places.

I can still hear the shouting of the audience from the second floor of the hotel. I immediately went to the biggest room there, the room was locked with a smart lock.

"It's locked, Nayeon.", I said over the microphone.

"The seniors are hacking it now.", she said.

After a few minutes, the door finally opened. I went inside while putting on gloves and a mask. I started off with the cabinets.

"The guards at the entrance and the back are cleared.", Nayeon said.

"Good, I need someone to cover me.", I said but then there wasn't any answer.

"You need someone to cover you? I will."

My feet stuck on the floor as I heard that voice again. It was her...

"Who are you?", I asked while slowly placing my sight at her.

"You should know it by now...or you're just in denial?", she lets out a soft laugh. It wasn't the laugh that I was used to hearing from her.

Even though the mask was covering her eyes, I can still see her eyes and her lips.

"I know you are not that dumb. Tell me, why didn't you come for me instead of my dad even though you already know that I am the heiress? Oh wait, the better question is, why did you betray your team for me?", she said and a creepy smirk slipped off her lips.

I stood there speechless, my eyes cannot away its sight from her face. it's like there was a magnet that was pulling my sight to her.

"What do you mean, Tzuyu? You betrayed us?", it was Nayeon's voice.

She and the whole team was captured by the goons from outside and I can't bring myself to look at her even from a glance. I know she is hurt from what I did...

"Oh It kinda reminds me of what you promised me. You said that you will protect me? Should I be thankful for that?", Sana said and sat at the table where I was leaning.

"F*ck it, Tzuyu! Do something!", Nayeon shouted.

"Tell me what you are gonna do now, Chou Tzuyu.", Sana said then chuckled.

"Are they here?", said the voice and then suddenly the figure of a man entered the room.

"Good timing. The last bidding will begin in just a few minutes. Take them to the stage.", he said.

"May we present to you the main event of the bidding!"

The host voice' echoed all over the hall again and then a few minutes later, I just saw myself and the team tied at the middle of the stage.

"The winner of the bid will get to shoot heads tonight! Get your money on the line 'cause we are about to start! Let the bidding begin!"

"$5,000,000!"

"$10,000,000!"

"$20,000,000!"

The prices kept on getting higher while my knees started to tremble.

"F*ck, do something, Tzuyu. Please...", Nayeon's tears started pouring.

Suddenly, a voice silenced the whole hall.

"Five billion?", Sana said. She was now playing with a gun at her hands throwing it in the air and then catching it.

His father was now sitting at his throne while looking proudly at her own daughter. I can't let him do what he wants with her innocent daughter. I don't want Sana to be his armor anymore, that is why I am doing this.

"Five billion dollars ended the bid! First time in history of this organization. Empress is now in the lead of the highest bid! Congratulations, Empress!"

"That's my daughter.", I heard him say.

Sana walked in front of me. She held my chin up and I saw her smirk again.

"I did it for you, Sana. I betrayed my team because I don't want you to be killed by them. I can't let that happen because you are only the victim of your own father."

"Why should I be the victim? He's helping me from the hands of your family and now that you are here. I will start with you...", she smirked.

She then pointed her guns at me that made the audience get wilder. I looked at her eyes, the innocent Sana disappeared in just one night but I know that that is the real her.

This is not her...that isn't the girl I love.

Suddenly, a loud sound of helicopters and sirens coming from outside made the audience panic.

I looked at Sana's father who was dragging Sana and rushing to get to the rooftop. I nodded at Nayeon to proceed with the plan.

I grabbed the gun that Nayeon was holding and chased after Mr. Minatozaki at the rooftop.

"Stop right there, Mr. Minatozaki!", I shouted at him.

I tried to stop myself from pulling the trigger when I saw him pointing his gun at her own daughter.

"W-Why are you doing this, Father? She's the one you should kill...They're the one who killed Mom, right?", Sana said.

She must be shocked at all of the sudden happenings. I wanted to hug her so bad.

"Shut up! Stay back or else I will kill this girl!", he shouted then pointed his gun at me.

"You're a psycho. He is the one who killed his own wife because of the money that she didn't even steal from you. You stole from her and when Sana was badly ill, you didn't even place even a penny for the hospital bills. Now you are saying that this organization was built for Sana and her mother? Sana, this was only for his intention. He knew that there should be the one who will continue this dirty business and that is you. Not for you or your mother but for his money and gambling organization."

"F-father..."

"Don't listen to her, Sana! They killed your mother!", he shouted and shot his gun at the sky

"Our family helped your family when you are on the verge of death by those you owe a huge amount of money! My grandfather almost sacrificed himself. You know why? Because he and that man's father were bestfriend. I hated my grandfather for that, he became reckless for your family and now you'll pay him with this?"

"Shut up! It's all a lie! Please don't leave my side like your mother did, Sana. Your mom cheated on me and I-I just can't accept it. Please.", the psycho in him disappeared and knelt down at Sana and told her everything just to win mercy at her.

"You killed Mom...", she mumbled.

I just pointed my gun at Mr. Minatozaki in case he did something to Sana.

"Surrender now, Mr. Minatozaki and don't do something unpleasant. The whole building is now surrounded by the police."

"Did you think that you would catch me alive? Catch me in hell. Let's live in hell, Sana", he stood up and laughed devilishly.

He suddenly pointed his gun at Sana

"I'm sorry, Sana...", I whispered before pulling the trigger.

I saw Sana fall on her knees while crying. It's over now, Sana.

You won't suffer from his hands anymore. I won't let your past be the end of your life.

I let go of my gun after I saw Mr. Minatozaki at the ground. I hurried to Sana and caressed her cheeks softly....

"I'm sorry, Sana...let's go back down now.", I said weakly and helped her stand up.

"H-how did you know all of this? Why did you help me? I can't understand. I almost k-killed you but you still chose me.", she looked at me in the eyes.

"Because...", I hugged from the back until I felt an ache in my back and my knees trembled from the shot.

"I love you, Sana. I'll sacrifice myself for you over and over again. I'll protect you even if it costs my life."

"T-Tzuyu...."

Hi, guys! I'm back another fanfic for our twicetopia club. I did my best but I was too busy with school work so I just finished it today. I accept and critics from you guys so don't hesitate to comment. I badly need it so I can improve! Thank you for finishing this one!
