Here are some possible NPCs that can be seen in the world I'm working on. I originally called it Grifindal, but I'm not sold on that name anymore. That's not the point, though. You're here because you want to see some, not all, of the influential NPCs this world has to offer. Or because you're bored and reading/clicking this post to past time.

Paris, at least that is what he'll go by when the adventurers first meet him. Chances are he'll be seen again with a new face and name. Or maybe you won't see him, but he'll see you, the adventurers. It'll be up to the players if they see him as a friend or foe.

Pedro de Drake. Surprisingly, this was created by accident. It's the secondary title for the Lady of Culzes. A giant serpent captured her when she was a little princess, too young to understand she should fear the beast. She managed to befriend the Serpent, and its kin swore loyalty to her and her family for generations. But a slip of the tongue from the bellman, calling her "Pedro de Drake" instead of "Princess de Drake." No one is sure how such a mistake was made, but the title stuck. The giant serpent is rumored to hold something of legends, maybe good ol' Pedro de Drake has some more insight to share?

Bomor is a traveling dwarf on a mission. What mission exactly, well, he doesn't actually . But he knows he has to get it done no matter what. He's traveled across the world, documenting his journey thus far, sending his findings to be published for the rest of the world. If you stumble across a survival/travel guidebook, chances are you'll see Bomor's name on it. As his works are used worldwide by most travelers.

Captain Dierck, a rugged gruff looking man. His home is his ship, and his family is his crew. You need a ship that can get you across some of the most treacherous waters or carry and protect extremely important cargo. He and his crew can get it done as long as you pay the appropriate price.

Lastly, for the sake of this post, we have Bloody Matilda. Of all the religions and beliefs of this world, this is the only one NOT created by the God who created this world but by one of his foes. While she is a part of the world, it's only in name alone so far. Her followers believe in the strong rule over the weak instead of protecting the weak. They are notorious for committing heinous crimes and schemes. Their "Bible" is more of a prophecy they revere more than their own greed. Everything they do, they'll claim its for the sake of the prophecy. They're small compared to any other belief systems, but they have believers everywhere, working towards the bigger goal.

Sorry for the lack of visuals. I came up with all but one on the spot. Paris is the only one I put effort into making before I even made this world. But he's constantly changing forms, observing people from near and far. I'm pretty sure by this point that even he has forgotten what he originally looked like.
