This is a compilation of every single Steel Soul Run
Some parts may not make sense due to no pictures being there, or stuff just may be described/worded weirdly, or have no context cause of how this is all formatted.
I apologize for that

Spirit's Glade
Hello.
Today we're starting in the Resting Grounds Stag Station, with the goal of getting 300 Essence, so Seer can give me a Pale Ore. For this, I should probably fight a Dream Warrior. The most accessible and easiest one I can think of is Elder Hu, so let's go do that.
I see one location in the Fungal Wastes that hasn't been explored yet, so i'll check it out. I take the Stag to the City Storeroom's, since it's closer to the location. As I suspected, the room did contain Elder Hu.

This is one of the easiest boss fights in the game, so I swiftly take care of him without getting hit once. Now I have 397 Essence, time to go back to Seer. I decided to go back to the Queen's Station instead of the City Storeroom's, and i'm glad I did. Found another Wanderer's Journal. After getting to the Station, I take the stag to the Restong Ground's, talk to Seer, and get my Pale Ore.
Apparently she also gives you a reward for 200 Essence, which is opening the gate outside her little hut. In there is the Spirit's Glade, a cemetary. If I correctly, all the Dream bugs found here were designed and created by some of Hollow Knight's Kickstarter backers. It's very interesting to walk in here and read what each bug has to say.
In the Spirit's Glade, theres this secret area in the spout of a waterfall. In there I grabbed a King's Idol. But I wasn't there for the Idol, I was here for something more interesting.

Up here is a little area The Knight can stand on, right next to the giant moth statues head. Not many people know this, but you can Dream Nail the statue to enter a super secret area.
Upon doing that, you will enter the Shrine of Believer's

This area holds multiple different monuments the player can read. These monuments hold the names of even more Kickstarter backers. Maybe you don't find this very interesting, but I do. I think it's such a cool secret to have here.

A Grimm Demise
![HKSSR 2.0: Part 17 - Part 29-[BC]This is a compilation of every single Steel Soul Run

Why not just do some DLC stuff now? I guess since i'm already at a bench, I can equip the Grimmchild Charm, and go look for those flames. One of them is in the City's Storeroom's, so i'll travel there first.
After that the next easiest one to get is the one by the entrance of the Crystal Peaks, by Dirtmouth's Elevator. So i'll take a Stag to Dirtmouth, get that flame, take the stag to Greenpath and get the next flame, then come back to Dirtmouth and talk with Grimm.
That's exactly what I did, and now the Grimmchild went from Smol boy to long boy.
![HKSSR 2.0: Part 17 - Part 29-[BC]This is a compilation of every single Steel Soul Run

Look at em grow.
The next flame's are in King's , the Resting Grounds, and Kingdom's Edge. I guess since i'm already in Dirtmouth, i'll go to Kingdom's Edge first and get that flame.
After that i'll take the Stag in Dirtmouth, and grab the flame in the Resting Grounds. Then i'll take another Stag into the King's Station and get the one in the Kingdom's Edge.
Sounds like a plan!
After getting the other 3 Flames, I go to bring it back to Grimm...But there's a problem.
I have completely forgotten when I fight Grimm. Is it right after I talk to him again? Or does he let me get preppes first? Am I even ready for Grimm?
I've fought Grimm a multitude of times, and love his boss fight. But just incase, I hopped into my main save and fought him in Godhome. Just to get my confidence level up. Although I am more powerful in that version of my game, all I need is skill and confidence...and also patience.

Of course I got to start the show with a bow to Grimm. Granted I could get an extra hit here, but what kind of dance would that be? Respect eachother.
Eventually I did beat Grimm, triumphantly, and only getting hit a couple of times.

After the dance, I am rewarded with another Charm Notch. Heck yeah.
↓ Part #19 ↓
Exploration.
I guess I might as well get the last remaining flames now, just to do something.
The Flames are located in the Fungal Wastes, the Ancient Basin, and an area I haven't even been to yet. It's under the Kingdom's Edge, so it can only be The Hive.
The plan is to take a stag to the Queen's Station and get the flame in the Fungal Wastes, go back and take another stag to the Hidden Station and get the flame in the Ancient Basin, then walk to the next one found in The Hive. Sounds like a plan.
Turns out I just can't get to The Hive yet anyway because I don't have the Tram . That's found in Deepnest, and I don't feel like going there just yet. Since I can't, I unequipped the Grimmchild charm. I had two Charm Notch's open still, so I guess i'll put on the Stalwart Shell Charm.
Now what...
I guess I can't stay away from the Queen's Garden's anymore, even if that's where I died in my last Steel Soul run. I'll head there I guess.
↓ Part #20 ↓
A collecting problem
Even though I really don't want to, I think i'll be going into the Queen's Gardens for today. Right now i'm in the Hidden Stag Station, so I take a ride over to the Queen's Station, and get into the Queen's Gardens.
I really do like this area. I like grassy, beautifal areas like this. Which is ironic since I absolutely hate being outside or around nature IRL. The music here is also just very pleasing to the ears.
Into the Queen's Gardens and I find Cloth at the start. I don't think I saw her here at the start in my main game before, so it's interesting to see her here.
I'm trying to be extra careful in this area. As I said, this is where my last Steel Soul run ended. Thankfully i've already made it farther in, as I have found Cornifer, and bought a map from him. Even better, a Bench next to him. Since i'm scared of this area, I unequipped the Spore Shroom Charm and Sprintmaster charm, and equipped the Fragile Heart Charm.
I started exploring a bit and found the Love Key! This is very good, infact, it's exactly what I wanted. Now I can go and fight The Collector, save multiple grubs, and know the location of even more grubs!
Around that same area I found a secret area back into the Fungal Wastes from the gardens. I continued into the Wastes for a safer way to get back to the Queen's Station. Almost fell into Deepnest, but didn't, thankfully. I guess now i'll just fight The Collector since I can.
I travel to the King's Station, since it's the nearest Stag Station to The Collector. I unequip my Com and Geo charm, and equip the Baldur Shell charm. Just incase.
I enter the Tower of Love and here those...suggestive, noises of a Grub and The Collector. Quite the creey fellow, very creepy.
I did end up beating him, Desolate Dive came in handy quite a lot here. Afterwards I save 3 grubs, all in the same room! And even better, I got the Collector's Map. This map shows each and every location of a trapped Grub. For example, it now showed me that I missed two Grubs in the City of Tears. I saved one of them, but i'll have to get the other one later.
↓ Part #21 ↓
Arachnaphobic Nightmares
I really want that Tram now. So i'm goung into Deepnest and getting it now. I hate Deepnest so much, but I can't ignore it.
![HKSSR 2.0: Part 17 - Part 29-[BC]This is a compilation of every single Steel Soul Run
[BC]Some parts may not make sense due](https://image.staticox.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpm1.aminoapps.vertvonline.info%2F7711%2F0254ad81d7f7719b5379636764d9dfe8648459e6r1-1080-572v2_hq.jpg)
Map just for reference
I start by going to the Queen's Station, and walking to the Fungal Core. There's an entrance to Deepnest right there...Also a Mask Shard, which I did not know about. Very cool! Cornifer is also at the entrance, he's terrified, as am I.
I don't like giving out info like this, since many people like to use it to backstab me, but I hate Spiders. I hate insects in general, but Spiders are where I get terrified.
Ya know that first temple in Zelda: Twilight Princess? That Forest one with the big spiders? Straight up took me 2 days to get the courage and kill a giant Spider enemy there.
Now back to the game. Obviously I buy a map from Cornifer, it's heavily needed. I try to make my way straight to the Unfinished tramway, but Team Cherry blocked the pathing there. So now I have to explore Deepnest more than I want to!
Also I met Nosk
After that I dropped down into a Hot springs, a safe area, finally. My goal is towards the left, but judging by the map above, the Sharp Shadow Charm is to my Right. And I defeinitely want that Charm. So I go to the right instead.
After getting the Charm, I see theres a Vessel Fragmant over here too...I might as well try to get everything so I don't have to come back, right? So yeah, I do get that, and end up back at the hot springs. NOW I can make my way to the tramway, and get the .
Eventually I do get to the Failed Tramway, and find a bench to rest at. And of course, the Tramway as well! Finally! Now I REALLY want to get out of here...But I know if I don't open Deepnest's Stag Station now, i'm gonna regret it.
*sigh*
As I get closer to the Stag Station I stop by the Weaver's Den. In there is a charm known as Weaversong. I'll definitely never use it, but it's nice to have. I also saved a Grub nearby, since I could.
Eventually, now, I make it to the Distant Village. A village found in Deepnest that has many things. A Stag Station, hidden Grub, the banishment of the Grimm Troupe, and Herrah the Beast. I go to the Stag Station first, and go to Dirtmouth. Just to be away from Deepnest for a little bit. And to also save at a bench, since the bench in Deepnest's Station is broken in half.
I'm ending it there for today, but I'll be going back to Deepnest in the next post of this series too. I don't want to, but have to.
↓ Part #22 ↓
The Beast is sleeping
Let's just get to it already
I'm in Dirtmouth, going into the Distant Village found in Deepnest to get Herrah the Beast. One of the Dreamers I really need. She's the only one not guarded by a boss fight, so she's the easiest one to get.
In the Distant Village are these, cacoon like houses. I walk into one of them and find an interesting scene. A bunch of husks, wrapped up in silk...yikes. I, also, accidentally fall down in the Village. Everythings suspended in the air, so it's over a large pit of black water. Now I gotta climb back up. As I climb up, I talk to Midwife, an NPC in Deepnest.
I don't believe I ever talked to her in my main game, for good reasons of course. Why would I want to talk to something as creepy as this? And of course, she tries to eat me too. Lovely.
I go back to the Distant Village's Stag Station, and travel to a random Stag Station to heal and save on a bench. Travel back to the Distant Village, and enter a house I am yet to go into yet. There are...People? Inside the house? They keep telling me to sit on this bench.
I get trapped. I'm stuck on the bench, cannot move. the screen fades to black as they close in on me. Noises of cartilage being rippes open and a loud scream of some beast...The screen fades in on me trapped in a web now. I am in the Beast's Den.
Now the Beast's Den, is not a fun area! It is a maze. In this maze is Herrah's Body, which is what I need to find...So, I guess i'll go do that now. On my way to find Herrah though I find a trapped Grub.
I do end up finding her body, and like you do with every Dreamer, I use the Dream Nail on them. From here I am transported into some dream like area, that has Herrah floating. I beat the heck out of her to claim her mask, and get the first dreamer.
I wake up and find Hornet next to me, sitting next to where Herrah's body was lying. Spoiler alert, Herrah is Hornet's mother. She knew I would have to slay Herrah, but did not stop me from trying.
I leave the den and find that those people from before, the ones that trapped me. Dead. Nothing remains of them but their masks.
NOW LET'S GET OUTTA HERE
god I hate Deepnest soooooo much. Gross area. I take the Stag to the Queen's Stag Station, as that's where I plan to stop now. We're making some incredible process! We have 1 Dreamer now. 2 more and I can finish the game.
↓ Part #23 ↓
Queen Bee
Like the start of every steel soul run, I have no idea what i'm doing today. I left off in the Queen's Gardens because I thought I was gonna do the Queen's Gardens today, but just kinda don't want to.
I have the Tram now, so I might as well try and go to The Hive? Sounds good. I take a Stag to the Hidden Station, travel to the Ancient Basin's tramway, and take that towards The Hive. There are two entrances into The Hive, but one of them only leads to a Grub at a dead end. I go and save the Grub first, and come back to the normal entrance later.
The Hive is a very calm place. Creepy vibed music, sure. But the atmosphere is very chill. And the enemies are very cute, for the most part. Small bee's, big bee's, medium sized bee's that turn into darts and try to pierce you...Very cute!
The Big Bee's can break cracked surfaces by charging into them, and because of that I was able to get a hidden Mask Shard in the wall!
Despite previously saying The Hive is a chill place, it does have a boss fight here. It didn't always have one though. Fans actually complained about how useless/uninteresting The Hive was in earlier builds of the game, because there was no boss. So Team Cherry put in a whole epic boss there, Hive Knight. A very simple and easy one, but one that many people enjoy.
After defeating Hive Knight, I am rewarded with a charm known as Hiveblood. This Charm allows me to restore health over time, without the use of Soul. Very neat. Walking back to Hive Knight's corpse, a Dream Spirit of the Hive's Queen shows up, talking to the knight...Free essence, I Dream Nailed her :)
As I was leaving The Hive, I ed that there is a Flame here for the Grimmchild. I quickly sit on the nearest bench, equip Grimmchild, and nab the flame since i'm there.
Kinda've a short blog I have here right now, and I don't really feel like ending it just yet. So how about I go back to the Queen's Gardens?
I mainly just explored the entire time I was there, but my goal was to find the Stag Station here. On the way I got another Grub saved, as well as met Marmu. Marmu is another Dream Warrior. Fun Fact about him, he was designed by one of the developer's mother! Marmu's room leads straight into the Stag Station, so I did eventually get there.
That's where i'll end for today, in the Queen's Garden's Stag Station.
↓ Part #24 ↓
The Last Stag...?
Starting in the Queen's Garden's Stag Station, the Stag that i've been riding on tells me something interesting. He's found the place of his birth, and where all the other Stag's lived! I can now freely travel to the Stag Nest. So, might as well do that now!
In the Stag Nest is a Vessel Fragmant...and many, many, dead Stag's. All piled up next to eachother. For a while now the Stag i've been traveling on was never named normally. He always went by "The Last Stag", since he thought every other Stag had died out. But as we arrive at the Stag Nest, he feels a presence, as if there are more Stag's out in the world. This is confirmed true, as I did also find an empty eggshell hidden here. The Last Stag clings onto the hope that there are more of him out there in the world, and his name changes to "Old Stag".
The Stag Nest has always had some eery feeling to me, and it's not because of all the corpses, and the lack of music. It's intead of what noises we here there. From time to time, a loud chant of people. As if they are all cheering or arguing. What could that be? And from where? Always such a strange place.
I'm glad the Old Stag is here for me, such a helpful fellow. So how about I spend some extra time with him today, and travel around doing some side stuff?
I take the Old Stag back to Dirtmouth. I have a couple of Rancid Eggs I can trade to Jinn for exchange of Geo, so I Crystal Boost over there first. But I decide to also stop by the Grub father and get some more rewards from him. I saved 10 Grubs and got 1935 Geo, and a Pale Ore from him. VERY good reward!
After that I walk up back to Dirtmouth, and ride the Stag the City's Storeroom's. I have some things I need to sell to Lemm, as I have collected quite a lot of stuff since the last time I saw him.. But, his shop is closed. He left a note as well, saying he went to clear his mind for a bit. Says he's at the Fountain Square, so I guess i'll go talk to him.
After a quick chat with Lemm about the City's Fountain, which features a statue of The Hollow Knight, we meet back at his shop. I sell two Wanderer's Journals for 400, three Hallownest Seals's for 1,350, a King's Idol for 800, and an Arcane Egg for 1,200. The total comes out to 3,750 Geo! Combine to my already existing Geo count of 9,234, I now have 12,984 Geo! Man I am rich!
After talking to Lemm, I go and meet the Nailsmith again. I wanted to see how much Pale Ore I needed to upgrade my nail again, and the count ended up being 2. Turns out I already had 2 Pale Ore though, so I ended up just upgrading my Channeled Nail to a Coiled Nail. Now I need 3 pieces of Pale Ore to upgrade it again, and I guess I already have another one too??? I don't know where I got 3 Pale Ore from but i'm not complaining.
After that, I start climbing the spire to where Lurien the Dreamer is. I don't plan on getting the Dreamer just yet. Instead I just want to explore a bit, and rescue a trapped Grub that's in the spire. Eventually, I did save the trapped Grub there.
After that, I went to the King's Stag Station, and stopped for the day. I did a suprisingly large amount of stuff today, despite barely exploring!
↓ Part #25 ↓
Grub Time!
Hello again, i'm back.
I think for today i'm just gonna rescue a bunch of Grubs right now. So I think i'll start in Greenpath. Right now i'm in the King's Station, so I take a ride over to Greenpath, and hunt down some Grubs.
There's a Grub I missed right by the Greenpath Stag Station, so that's the first one I save. I take a quick stop at the Lake of Unn. Now that I have Isma's Tear, and can Swim in acidic water. Theres a secret I can find.
In there, I can actually find the Great Unn him/herself. Unn gives me a Charm known as "Shape of Unn". This charm turns me into a little slug guy whenever I use focus to heal. Because of this, I can heal and move at the same time.
The next Grub in Greenpath is in an area I cannot get to just yet, so i'll have to come back later. I walk back to the Stag Station, and hitch a ride over to the Crossroads. There aren't any missing Grubs here, but I want to talk to Salubra. I think I may have enough charms to get Salubra's Blessing.
Turns out, i'm terrible at counting! I need 40 Charms to get Salubra's Blessing...There are only 40 Charms in the game...I need to get every Charm. Nope, not doing that. Nevermind.
Incase you're wondering what my current charm list is:
I use Thorns of Agony, Grubsong, Nailmaster's Glory, Wayward Com, and Gathering Geo on every HK run I play. I use Longnail and Fragile Heart from time to time, but not a lot. Stalwart Shell is a new addition i'm using for Steel Soul though, it's very helpful.
After that I mainly just explored for a while, getting side tracked. I got to the Fungal Wastes and saved a Grub found in the center of the Wastes Map. No more Grubs in the Wastes now.
For futurw refrence, there are no Grubs in the:
Howling Cliff's
Crossroads
Fungal Wastes
Fog Canyon
Crystal Peaks
Resting Grounds
The Hive
Ancient Basin
The Abyss
Which narrows us down to:
Greenpath
City of Tears
Royal Waterways
Kingdom's Edge
Deepnest
Queen's Garden's
There are 3 Grubs in Deepnest alone, which sucks, but i'll have to get em eventually. I think i'm gonna end it here for today? I'm kinda bored of Hollow Knight right now so, I think i'm done.
↓ Part #26 ↓
A Teacher's Pet
Hello, i'm back again! Back in my Steel Soul Run file, again. Currently I am in the Queen's Stag Station, with no goal in mind...However, I guess since I can, why not go get another Dreamer?
Monomon is found in the Teacher's Archives, in the Fog Canyon. I'm basically right next to it, and definitely ready to fight Uumuu, the boss protecting the Dreamer. So let's get it!
As I enter the Archives, I sit on a bench and take off two charms. The com and the geo one, and put on the Baldur's Shell charm.
I actually kinda like the Uumuu fight for one reason. It's a tag team boss fight with you, and Quirrel! You fight Uumuu alongside Quirrel, and I just think that's incredibly cool. Afterwards, Quirrel helps you claim Monomon too, as he is the final seal that keeps Monomon locked away.
I now have 2 Dreamers, out of the 3, collected. The last one lies in the City of Tears, in the highest peak of the Watcher's Spire. In there I have to fight the Watcher Knights, and boy, that can be a hard boss fight.
Before I leave the Archives, I do the charm stuff again and go back to my normal layout.
Now, once again, no goal set.
Ya know, I got a lot of Geo on me. One thing i've ignored so far is this bank found in the Fog Canyon, ran by Millibelle. I have over 12,000 Geo, and the Max amount I can deposit is 4,500. I guess i'll just deposit the max amount, might as well.
Thing is, I did that on purpose for a reason. This bank? A scam. After a while, Millibelle will run off with your Geo. I did that on purpose to have content for this blog. And to just have some fun.
Millibelle ran off into the Pleasure House, found in the City of Tears. To get there, I gotta unlock a door with a key and make my way up...I do not have a key, so I cannot get my Geo back yet.
I got scammed
↓ Part #27 ↓
Charm Confusion
Hello everyone, Maximinium here again. Back in my Steel Soul run, again. I think for today, i'm just gonna try and find a bunch of Grubs.
Currently I am in the King's Station, and there is a Grub right below me. I have to get there through the Kingdom's Edge, which is fine since theres another Grub I missed in that area too.
I went towards the nearest Grub, and I was actually brought into the Royal Waterways. That's where I found the Grub. I considered backtracking into Kingdom's Edge, but I also missed another Grub in the Waterways. Might as well get that too!
I find the Grub relatively quickly, and now...
There are no Grubs in the Waterways!
Very cool! However, i'm not entirely finished with the Waterways just yet. Theres a boss in here that I want to fight. So naturally, I find the nearest bench and un-equip the Com and Geo charm. I also unequip Nailmaster's Glory. I do this so I can put on the Shaman Stone Charm. This Charm helps boost the damage of Soul related attacks. This will help me dispense of the boss quickly.
I make my way to Flukemarm, a gross cacoon like fluke. It's only attack is producing and squirting out Flying Flukes...Very gross boss. But that doesn't matter because
I killed the boss in 3 Seconds.
I charge a Cyclone Slash as my first attack, hitting it with every swing of my Nail. Right afterwards, I go underneath it and Abyss Shriek 3 times in a row. Then bam, death. It didn't even get an attack out!
I forgot to get a picture of it because I killed it so fast so uh, heres the corpse.
As the reward, I get a charm known as Flukenest. This charm turns my Shade Soul attack into something else. Instead of one big projectile. I instead shoot out a bunch of Flukes that squirm around, hitting opponents.
Afterwards I find the closest bench, re-organize my charms, and leave the area. I eventually get back to the King's Station, which is perfect. It's right near Kingdom's Edge, where 2 more Grub are. Better go save em!
I found one grub, over by a Nailmaster's Hut. When I tried to find the other one, I accidentally stumbled upon the Quick Slash Charm. I thought I already had this, but whatever. Very good to have now.
I can't seem to find an opening for the Grub in Kingdom's Edge, so perhaps it's apart of Th Hive instead? I'll explore there and find out.
I had to pull an extreme manuever to find the Grub, but ended up finding him. Bouncing on Bee's are not very easy, especially if the Bee can turn into a Drill at any second!
There are now no Grubs in the Kingdom's Edge or The Hive.
Every other Grub is on the left side of the Map. 3 in Deepnest, 1 in the Queen's Gardens, and 1 in Greenpath.
I'll be stopping for today though.
↓ Part #28 ↓
A Watchful Eye
Hello everyone! I'm back with another one of these, this time with a plan!
Before I get to my plan, i'm gonna talk about something else real quickly.
Last time, in my previous update, I got the Quick Slash charm. I was confused by this though, since I thought I already had it. Even more, I thought I had it equipped this whole time too.
Turns out, I had the Heavy Blow Charm on instead! This entire time without realizing it. The Heavy Blow charm sits right next to the Quick Slash Charm, and look pretty similar, so I guess I mistook it for quick slash.
Anyway, now. Onto the plan
Kill The Watcher Knight's and get Lurien
Quite a big task! So, let's start with the basics first. My charm set. Now that I realized I haven't been using Quick Slash, I unequipped the Heavy Blow Charm. I also, of course, unequipped the Com and Geo charm. I also unequipped my Nailmaster's Glory Charm, along with my Thorns of Agony Charm.
I then equipped the Quick Slash Charm, and Shaman Stone Charm. Both take up 3 notch's, so I can no longer put anymore on.
Now, after that, I make my way to the Watcher's Spire.
As I make it to the tip of the Watcher's Spire, I a little secret about this boss fight. There is a breakable chandelier that I can drop onto one of the Watcher Knight's. That means I only have to actually fight 5 Knight's, instead of 6.
I don't like doing that, as I enjoy the challenge of this boss fight. But this is the furthest i've made it in a Steel Soul Run, and I don't want to stop now.
Now, it's time to battle. I this fight being pretty hard, so i'll have to be very careful...Is what I would say if that was true. This fight was so much easier than I . I didn't even needed to kill that one Knight with a Chandelier.
After the battle I open a chest that has 655, and a Hallownest Seal sitting close to it.
I take an elevator all the way to the top now, to grab Lurien, the final Dreamer. But first! Let's take a look through his telescope, looking at the City of Tears from above
Wow how nice, and totally not useless lol.
To the right of the telescope is Lurien's Body. Like every other Dreamer, I use the Dream Nail on the body, beat them up, and focus their energy.
All 3 Dreamer's have now been claimed.
I can now finish this run!
↓ Part #29 ↓
A Pale Nosk
Hello everyone, i'm back.
I kinda have a goal in mind? I want to try and get all the Pale Ore, but it will be hard. One of the Pale Ore is rewarded to those who finish the second trail in the Colosseum of Fools. That's very dangerous for me to do, it's just a bit risky is all.
So let's do it.
Rn i'm in the King's Station, so I walk to the Cities large Elevator, climb up the side of walls in that area to reach an exit into Kingdom's Edge, and Crystal Dash all the way to the Colosseum of Fools.
I put a slash on the second trial, confirming my involvement. Now, all there is to do but conquer it!
The entire battle went incredibly smooth, it was easier than I expected. I couldn't get a picture of the bosses since I was focused but uh, heres a pic of me actually completing it.
As a reward, I was given a Pale Ore as well! I now have 2 Pale Ore, I just need to find another one.
And I know exactly where it is, sadly.
Deepnest.
Deepnest does have a boss fight, actually. Not a good or fun one, but it has one. I don't like the boss fight that much, it's scary and annoying. But I have to do it to get my Pale Ore.
I take the Stag over to the Queen's Station, since that will actually be the fastest way to Deepnest. Since i'm going here, I might as well try and get the 3 Grubs in this area too. Before going I unequip my Shaman Stone Charm, and re-equip my Com, Geo and Thorns of Agony Charms.
I also met Mr.Mushroom. Can't understand a thing he's saying though.
I find the first Grub in Deepnest, and there are 3 other Grubs also found in the same area? Yet they aren't on my map? Well, that's because these are Grubs. These are Grub Mimics, monsters that look and sound like Grubs. They will attack if you free them.
I make my way back to Deepnest's Hot Springs area, the safe haven in all this mess. It's where I need to be anyway. Now is when I switch my charms back to the good layout.
I walk left and break a hidden wall, in there is the next Grub! In that same area is yet another hidden wall, spooky. In there I meet...Me!?
That's Nosk. I'll show you him more later.
As I walk forwards, I prepare to fight the scariest looking boss in the game.
I got hit quite a lot this boss fight, more than I am comfortable with. But I did eventually beat Nosk, and kill em. And as my reward, I got another Pale Ore! Now I can go to the Nailsmith, and get the purest nail I can!
Before I leave to go do that though, I HAVE to get this last Grub first. I do NOT want to come back here again! So, that's what I did.
There are now no Grubs in Deepnest.
I run to the Queen's Station as fast as I can, and end my journey there for today.
Unofficial Part #30
Idk I finish the run or something, haven't gotten here yet.
