March 28th is National Weed Appreciation Day.

In honor of Weed Appreciation Day, let's be weedy!

What is a weed, anyway? The dictionary definition is "a wild plant growing where it is not wanted and in competition with desired plants". I prefer to think of weeds as opportunistic survivors. Weeds can thrive under conditions that domestic plants commit suicide in. :joy: Many weeds are home to pollinators, your garden's best friends. Many are edible, and even delicious.
