My parents always told me to face my fears head on when I was a kid. "Aim high", they all said to me, "but don't get too close to the sun. If you do, you will fall to your untimely demise.

I never understood what last part meant. I always pushed myself to the breaking point. And I kept pushing myself.

I have shown no fear towards racing on any track i have raced at. Not even a track I have never raced on, Texas Motor Speedway, can faze me.

Fellow drivers have always told me this track is one of the worst nightmares realized behind the super speedways of Daytona and Talladega. This track is known for eating race cars, they all claim.

Clearly they never met me. I've had to face my fears time and time again. I face them every time I strap into race car. If you're not going to face your fears when you go racing, then it's not worth doing.

I've scratched and clawed my way from the late models and dirt late models to where I am today. Nobody, and no track, will stop me in my quest to be crowned a NASCAR Cup champion.

I fear nobody. I fear nothing. The grinded my teeth on the short tracks and dirt tracks so I could get here . I know every trick in the book. BRING IT.
